...can't believe no one mentioned Plan 9 From Outer Space (okay, it's 1959).

Five East Pieces (Jack Nicholson)
Serpico (Al Pacino)
Dog Day Afternoon (Al Pacino)

I wouldn't consider these cheesy, but they're a few of my favorites from that era.

You know it’s actually a good idea to mix in a classic cheesy porn flick. I’ve seen Deep Throat so Behind The Green Door is on the list.

PS. You disgust me too |barf|

I prefer Insatiable..I dont know if thats 70's might be 1980..but that had the best facial scene I had ever seen up to that point.

Bobc01 2008-03-01 06:21 PM

Carry on doctor 1968
Carry on again doctor 1969
Carry on camping 1969

Plus the other 25 carry on movies.

All filmed locally to me too :D

SheepGuy 2008-03-01 06:23 PM

Insatiable is the best of it's era IMO!
The best movie of the 70's for me though is The Last Detail, with Jack Nicholson.
I've watched Monty Python & The Holy Grail at least 50 times and always find a funny bit that I've missed before ;) Used to use that movie to check out girlfriends, if they didn't think it was funny I knew they wouldn't last.
One from the early '80's that I really like is "Salvador" with James Woods and Jack Belushi.
"Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" is a good kids movie for kids on acid as well.
The ultimate B or C movie for me is "Kutthroat Kommandos" though, very hard to find and seriously fucked up ;)
