Congrats to Toby, Kit, and MadMax

Congratulations to Toby, MadMax, and Kit for being in the "Two Years Plus Club," since you all have Fetish Club members who've been rebilling for more than two years now. |thumb

And actually you're all closing in on the Three Year Club since the members I'm looking at have been with us since 2005.

Thanks again for the signups! |shake|

(There are other board members who'd be in the two-years club too by now, but they selected our pay-per-signup option so we can't really count them here.)

Thats some awesome retention...Congrats guys..

Simon would you say that FC retaines most of its signups for at least a few months on average? or are there more drive-bys?

Useless 2008-03-04 08:34 AM

I guess this helps explain Toby's post in this thread.

Nice work, Simon. |thumb

We get drive-by members too, but less than the average big-boob-blondes site. Mostly that's because fetishes naturally retain more than likes and wants do. Surfers with a particular fetish may need to see that blonde wearing thigh-high boots and snapping a bullwhip to achieve the same result. Or they may need to see her chained to a wall with a ball gag in her mouth, depending on the surfer's persuasion.

The fetish niches are like feeding an addiction in some ways. We've had members tell us how they look at certain photos or watch certain video clips over and over again for months (and longer). Usually that's after we move something and they're upset and contact us to say that "their favorite" isn't where it's been for all the months they've been with us.

Straight across the board average is 2.2 months per member, but if you take out the ones who cancel right after joining (drive-bys), the average is around 4 months. We have members who've been with us since before we moved to CCBill early in 2004 and opened the affiliate program later that year.

Really it comes down to whether someone has traffic with enough fetish-seekers in it. If not, then there may be more cancels in the first month. But if they're really into kinky stuff, then they're likely to hang around for at least a few months.

It's always nice to see those when you look at your stats, but in the end, all we (The Webmaster) did was send them to the paysite...the owner converted & retained them |thumb

(not trying to take anything away from Toby or MadMax)

digifan 2008-03-04 12:36 PM

Congrats :)

docholly 2008-03-04 12:55 PM

|thumb WTG |thumb

and I agree with |greenguy| we can send them to the sites but if they join and all that is there is 1000 pictures and 20 minutes of video that hasn't been updated since Octembre (yes I wrote a review of a site that was last updated in that month) the retention factor will be much less.

So wtg Toby and MadMax (wherever you are) and a |thumb |thumb for Simon and other program owners who keep the customer satisfied.

I agree with Greenie as well, its the site that retains the members, not the Originating WM.

For that Simon you deserve the congrats!

I just had to stick my nose back in here for two reasons.

First is to mention again that there's a difference between general porn surfers looking for what they like/want and fetish surfers searching for what they need/must have. So if someone has very general traffic, they're going to get less rebills than if they're sending pre-filtered fetish traffic. The webmasters in the Two Year Plus Club definitely know how to filter their traffic, so I definitely want to turn some of the praise back on them.

Okay, and the second reason...

I can't believe no one's voted yet (well, except me). Maybe we need to make this a poll next time?

:D

Me neither :)
... but when you get nominated for an annual award this early in the year, you may as well try to get out the vote.

Or maybe I just have primary fever. :D

Tekster 2008-03-05 08:23 PM

I would vote for you; but your third post has no signature. What kind of spam is that?|couch|
Then again, the rest it pretty good; OK you got my vote.:D

Greenguy 2008-03-06 11:34 AM

It's not |spam| until you think really hard about it - then it becomes |spam|

Simon 2008-03-06 01:35 PM

Well, then I guess you can just run me down |bus| and haul me off to the Products & Services forum. |sad|

... just don't stick me in Vegas 2006 Blog.

Y'know, if I turn my head sideways as I read it and squint just a little. It looks kinda like Abe Lincoln. |loony|

RageCash-Ben 2008-03-06 09:59 PM
