Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you know our Governor admitted involvement with a prostitution ring. :)

Since it involves transporting a prostitute across state lines, it seems to put a totally different spin on things. With federal charges looming, there is no choice but to resign...I think :)

I am thinking, by the end of tomorrow, we will have NYs first Black Governor. That's my guess. :)

Personally I think sex between two consenting adults should be legal even if one of them gives a gift to the other but what do I know.

My only issue is that Elliot Spitzer, as the Attorney General, was such a holier than thou person. He seemed to detest all of the law breaking evil doers. Now he looks especially silly. I've never seen such a popular guy go right to shit so quickly. Listening to radio gods, Ron and Fez, yesterday, Ron said something like, "Spitzer won the election by a landslide, then was hated the next day." That's pretty accurate.

Otherwise, I don't care who he's fucking, or if he's paying way too much for it.

It reminds me of when our vice mayor Doug Danziger, who closed down all the strip clubs, got caught with Kathy Willets.

You gotta love this story - this guy went after Dick Grasso and the only crime Grasso committed was that he made too much money. Some of the charges facing Spitzer include money-laundering so he's fucked.

I feel sorry for his poor wife - he forced her to attend the press conference where he apologised.

I remember Spitzer, speaking in California, about the evils of the sex industry and it's links to organized crime. It was a seminar turned into a pulpit for his rantings. It is hilarious now what has happened to him. He reminded me then of a Pentecostal minister, Rev. A.A. Allen. whose tent revival meetings I was always forced to attend by my family. Allen always screamed about the three sins of the world, sex, drugs and alcohol. He was later found dead in a motel room, in the company of a prostitute, with traces of weed in the ash trays. His autopsy confirmed his death resulted from cirrhosis of the liver.
