Is there a general rule to the number of categories a link list should have?

i.e. best to start w/ less in the "beginning"?

Only put up categories that you have sites of to fill them up.

Empty categories suck.

When you started yours did you basically have all of your own sites listed at first?

You need to have enough link sin a category so that the surfer doesn't see them all in one sitting & thus comes back to your site the next day/week/whatever.

What that number is exactly is anyone's guess - LOL

I wouldn't start a new LL with less than 1,000 cats.

980 cats for pantyhose related fetishes and 20 for the rest of us |jester|

1. Sponsor Content Category
2. Eastern European Category
3. Sites named the same as the sponsor Category
4. Sites submitted to wrong Category Category
5. Sites with broken recips Category
