A couple (2) of my friends (not leftysJ) want to submit free sites to make money.

Here is what I have so far:

1)They have their own domain and hosting.

2)They will submit the freesites I make for them using their own ref codes.

3)They will have their own paid email.

4)The site will be a separate one that I submit to all of you. No duplicate free site submissions.

Did I leave anything out? Any suggestions how I can help my friends? If anyone is thinking that this is cheating please speak up. So I know not cause a fuss.

No different than when I (or many other's) buy FS's and submit them.

As long as they aren't duplicates or copies of what you submit, then send them my way.

Make sure their whois info is not private.
As long as they are on their own domains and email I don't see a problem.
Make sure they will submit to Mr. Eros... or else...|couch|

Woo Hoo thanks everyone. I'll be making unique and cool free sites for each of us. Of course submit them by hand too.

This thread confused me until now. Or maybe I'm more confused now. None of us would care that your friends want to get into the business -that's why I was confused by the question, but are you saying that you'll be submitting the sites for your friends? Or are they going to be submitting their sites themselves, from their own homes?

not necessary, I got listed with private whois everywhere but few minor places

I forgot that detail. Sorry about that one. Yes they will be submitting the freesite I build them from their own homes. Is that ok? Each person will have their own IP address also. I will go to their home and show them over the next month.

Again using unique and totally different freesites for each of us. Each and every one of them :).

Some of the recip tables might look that same though. I can change them around every quarter. Except my index page that I like my order somewhat. How does that sound?

That's horrible advice, and how do you know a site is "minor" unless you are getting traffic from them.

And some major Linklists do have the no private whois rule in place.

Ok Ok. I'm still new and I don't want to be thought of as a cheater in any way. Maybe I'm over thinking this a little bit.

Some LL's have the "one submitter per IP per day" rule - as long as the ip's as well as the submitters are truly different folk, who cares. They just become affiliates submitting FS's made by someone else.

Some LL's allow the submitter submit on host sponsored domains - some do not. Read the rules of each LL and ask the LL owner if there is a question.

But they'll never get listed if they don't submit.

I am just telling what is working for me, 36 LL I submit to does not have this rule. Let it be horrible advice, I don't mind :)

oh that thread on GFY. I'm trying to get some money cuz I'm broke literally.Have no biz from that GFY yet. for some reason no one is into freesites over there. I have 2 friends that will submit freesites for themselves. Their names are Scooter and Russhole. They are my friends here in OC. I submit my own freesites.

If there is a problem. Please let me know. I am still new and do not want to burn any bridges here for a few bucks.

When I paid CrazySy for the freesites. It gave me an idea to do the same. Then I thought to get my friends some money along with some webmaster referrals.

Well, there are a couple of concerns. The greatest concern is that you are offering to submit the sites, not just build them. If you feel that you are producing a quality product that has a very high approval rate, then go ahead and build free sites for your customers. But if you think that you can submit other people's free sites, you are so very wrong. You'll eventually end up getting blacklisted and you won't be able to submit your sites or those of your customers.

The fact that the GFY thread comes right on the heels of this one probably makes most of nervous about your true intentions. At the very least, you have pretty poor timing. ;)

Well my true intentions are to support my family. I am willing to most things people hate to do. I don't have the nice car my partner does. In fact my car is piece of crap. Someone busted the window the other day hangin out a Russholios house too :) I washed it yesterday though so Its a clean piece of shit.


Yes this is bad timing on my part. These are 2 separate things. This thing with my friends and the GFY thread.

I thought of doing a submission service too. Bad idea. ok no submission service. I'll tank that project right now. Just trying to make it in this biz even if I need to do some serious grunt work.

So is it ok still to have my friends Russhole and Scooter to come here and submit free sites to you guys? again using their own IP address, url and email, there own refcodes and affiliate checks going to their homes and pockets :)

Also they need to come here to get the partner accounts on their own. My partner accounts are mine that I have earned here. I would not let them submit using my user name and pw.
