I can't believe I got to do this today. I got home about an hour ago to pick up a few things. No real update on Vickie other than she is doing ok. And she slept really well during the night.

Off to the hospital in about 1/2 hour.

Good Morning!

It's one of my favorite times of the year again and promises to end any attempt at work for a while. The Crawfish Festival kicks off tonight with the Atlanta Rhythm Section and The Guess Who. Tomorrow, I'm entered in the crawfish eating contest and I intend to goddamn win.

Starting the day off with some sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, and pecan praline coffee on the beach shortly, then might work a bit before heading for the groceries this evening. Then again I might skip work and just get stoned in preparation for the concert.

finally Dunkin' has opened on my side of town so I'm off shortly in search of a Good cuppa java. Like most other things here in Vegas where the tap water is not drinkable, it's not the same quality as those "cuppa"s that NY/NJ/ATL produces. But I'll live with it. |coffee

I ended up taking 2 naps yesterday, so I was able to watch a lot of hockey last night, followed by Before The Devil Knows Your Dead. I ended up going to bed around 3 & got up at 8. I can see 2 naps coming again today :D

Did I mention that The Bitch is having my office painted? She thinks that new lights & some paint will motivate me to actually work |thumb So aside from my desk, everything is packed up & thrown into the other room. It's a fucking mess down here.

Jim: Glad to hear Vicky slept well last night.

MadHatter and I are planning on spreading some gravel today outside the greenhouse, oh joy. That is always a workout. Then lots of porn work in the middle of the day when it is hot out.

We have been enjoying our back porch since we got the shade cloth up, it is nice and cool out there. We have great padded lounge chairs which I need to go recline on with my laptop and work before the weather is so hot we can't go out there.

Traveling up north this weekend to my mother in laws again. Should be an interesting weekend with the recent loss of life and the birth of twins in the family just a couple of weeks ago. Let the manischewitz flow and the matzah balls float.
