Behind on everything except computer trouble

Damn have I had some trouble these past two weeks. Just about everything inside my computer has been turned inside out, tweeked and twisted in order to figure out why it was so damn unstable. Turns out it was the CPU itself.

But now that I'm back with a stable system I going to have to catch up on some of all those emails I've gotten. So if you wrote to me... I'll get back to you ASAP. :)

While I have been struggling with this my ISP has cranked up my ADSL line to 512/128 - for free I might add - so hey its not all bad :)

I bought my PC from cyber power a year ago and have yet to have a problem that couldn't be fixed by doing a restore, I love my puter

Well I'm the more geeky type so I bought all the pieces seperately for maximum performance. System was never stable but it has been going steadily downhill until these past two week it was simply umpossible to do anything.
Took 4-5 tries just to get into windows... and I would have random reboots, machine would freeze or just plain BSOD.

After 3 different sets of memory, 2 different motherboards, extensive testing, a bigger CPU fan, a bigger powersupply, I finally... finally found the problem :)

I hear ya, I learned about computer building in the navy over 20 years ago, but I couldn't beat the price and the service and it's all name brand stuff in here!

Damn Cyber Power has some cheap stuff. I wish it was that cheap in Denmark. Over here buying your stuff seperately is definitely the cheapest way... but of course also a bit more complex.

I put together a machine at the Cyber Power website that is pretty close to what I have... and it would cost me $1791... well thats only 2/3s of what I actually paid |angry|

That's why I got my puter there, I've had it over a year and never a problem. I paid $1750 for it!
