Fuck, fuck, fuck, I hate scripts!
 

Ok last week the OS on my server was upgraded. Went pretty smooth, a few paths got changed, after a few days I thought that I had caught everything.

Today I go to do my Monday bulk mailing using MojoMail. It's broke, mess around with it for about 45 minutes, finally decide to grab a fresh copy of the script. |banghead|

Go to MojoMail and see that it is now called DadaMail. Still free and should work even better.

Install new version, well all my paths have changed in the huge amount of e-mail forms that I have across a dozen domains. |banghead|

Also it doesn't read any of my old databases so I have to basically redo everything. |banghead|

No problem do search and replace on just about everything that I own. Re-upload a few thousand files. Redo all my templates. Open up old databases in text editor and copy and paste info out of them into the new databases. |banghead|

All I wanted to do was a quick mailing before taking a shower. Now it is noon and I still haven't taken a shower or any real productive work done other then to get everything working the way it was before the upgrades. |banghead|



Actually the new version does seem a bit nicer and a bit faster.

Oh man, ya, that sucks.
The cPanal on my server updates by itself every so often. Something goes wack everytime. Sometimes its a little problem and sometimes its a big one. But its always something.
