Fetish Categories Help For New LL
 

I am working on a new LL, that is only going to list fetish sites and fetish galleries. What I need help with is the categories that I should get started with. I don't want to add to many and only have a couple of sites listed, or not enough.

To get an idea look at luvfetish.com (the design is going to be changed to CSS and sites and galleries will be listed separate as I have TGPX installed for galleries).

The categories I came up with so far are: BDSM, Bondage, Latex, Uniforms, Erotic Fetish, Fem-Dom and Piercings.

Also, for the webmasters that build and submit fetish sites and galleries, what are you looking for on a new LL / TGP site, what suggestions do you have for someone starting a new one, what would you like to see.

Please, if you have an idea, advice or suggestion let me know.

Most list seem to have either "bondage" or "bdsm" but not both...it would seem that bondage would be a subcategory of bdsm...but not really sure.

Also, you might seperate femdom into girl-girl/girl-male.

Strapon might be good, too. I get a lot of traffic in that category, though not too many sales.

my linksite have both, bdsm and bondage, bondage i list the sites in where i only see pics of a girl/guy in bondage (i name them bondage art sites:D) bdsm i list the sites in where people use bondage and hardcore and whatever more things then only bondage

oh yep i forgot the hairy thing, thats a real fetish for me|barf| and yep feet, pantyhose/panties, shoes, spanking, fem-dom good niches...cfmn....i dont like the sites submitted from that niche, i dont think they are a realy special fetish, i think its more the boring niche, but thats only my opinion, Stu<-- checking what fetish she has, i like the fetish linksites (heay and i am not a pervert!)btw medical niche is also a good one, high heels, boots, mouths, titfucking, mmm i think you can make a fetish about everthing....i just got an idea!

so far so good, I like these ideas; but I would have to say no to squirting, pee, and cfmn, I don't think they would work on what I want to get accomplished with my LL.

tek, try to find fetish which are not much around, they will work, my way of thinking is, dont grab fetish you like, grab the ones you dont like:D example black male ass licking:D (the rimming cat) ...not my kind of fetish but it will work, the fetish which are extreme will work the best, people always search for the thing they cant get:D

split it up, or have it as one category.

Definitely spanking. Other than that, the sky is the limit when it comes to fetish (or is it the netherworld? ;) ). I would check the fetish categories in big LL's and see which ones are busier, where you are likely to get more submissions, or even see if you have enough submissions in a particular fetish now to justify opening a new sub-category.

I have alot of friends in the lifestyle and are into Trampling you just don'tsee enough Trampling stuff :) just my two cents worth

Btw tek i added a hardlink to that domain to kinkcollective :) will also add one to fetish linklist

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I think I will keep a minimal number of categories until I get going and add some as the LL requires it.

The problem with Trampling is that I don't know any sponsors and I wonder if I get any submits in that, if you have any ideas, let me know.

Also, I added a link to kinkcollective from luvfetish; let me know what other fetish sites you have and we can do some more trades :)

Obviously the best way to choose the categories is to do your keyword research..:)
