Looking for mainstream directory sites
 

My gf is making a mainstream review site for local restaurants, and I have no experience with mainstream. Anyone have a list of resources for directories, etc where she can trade links and the like? Don't know where to start.

This site used to be (around a year ago) a good place to start - this page has a downloadable excel file with free directory submissions included:

Here is an excel sheet of some mainstream directories. If you have a few extra bucks you can use their submission service

I've used them and they get the job done.

also check digitalpoint forums, there are many people who offer mass submission to mainstream dirs.

I agree, DP forum is very good place to start from.
