"The Dark Side of SEO"?
 

First of all, hello, I'm new to the forums and looking forward to getting to know everyone and getting some good tips along the way! I have never joined a webmaster board, I've just been searching for information on google for the first few months of my endeavor, so I'm excited!

On one of my frequent google searches for SEO, I found something that I think is a little weird. Their website is: Underground Link Building and I found them by clicking their google text ad on the right side of my google search. I downloaded their free 21 page explanation of how to get great free automatic google ranking. At one point, he mentions that it is considered "The dark side of SEO".

His technique is exploiting the trackback system that most blogs offer. I have never tried it, so I want opinions from others in the business.

What sort of opinions do you want? Exploiting trackbacks translates to spamming the fuck out of your fellow webmasters. This will nearly always result in pissing people off and an inevitable google ban.

Some people never learn - not only do they want us to have to deal with more spam on our sites - they spam this board trying to get us to fall for their schemes.

I'm willing to bet Google is already aware of this dumbass scheme and penalising sites stupid enough to fall for it.

Here's a suggestion for you DominaKiara, go down to your local McDonalds and ask the manager for an application form.
Serving burgers and fries will be the absolute limit of your intelligence.

"dark side of seo" :D and no its not a dumb part....if you wanna deal with the facted, that you wanna live alone in that world(in a short time getting blacklisted by ses, sponsors and linksites and whatever and loose you domain,) but you can earn alot of money in a short time! But believe me,if you wanna earn respect and money on the long term)then the best way is, stay away and forget "that" part in this bizz":D

The dark side of SEO is exactly that, dark and dingy, and the people who do it well have very short time-frame projects coz they know they're gonna get banned quick so they have everything worked out to make instant cash. Anyone who wants a long term career as a webmaster should follow the rules, dot the i's and cross the t's.
