My 2yr Old Daughter
 

is SICK. And this sucks!

She's an excellent sleeper always has been, in bed by 6:30pm and wakes up between 7:30-8:30am the next day, never a peep out of her.

She has been building up a nice little cold since Saturday, watery eyes, coughing, sneezing, running & stuffy nose. I feel bad for my little Tomato.

She woke up screaming at 2:30am last night, I went in there, held her gave her some more medicine and she slept through till the morning, but tonight hasnt started off so peachy, she was up at 8:30pm and was just up again at 9:15pm, she doesnt feel as warm as yesterday, but she looks like she's warn down. Hate colds, especially when they are on my kids... GRRRRRRRR!!!

Got the Vaporizer kickin', every medicine under the sun, but if she isnt feeling better tomorrow it looks like Dr. time. Even made her chicken soup yesterday to make her feel better but she doesnt have an appetite, now wifey is getting sick too.

Sorry for the sicky kid, it doesn't get any better, my daughter is 15 and when she gets sick, I'm always worried about her. The purple stuff is the best by the way!

i have 2 kids , boy 7 and girl 9, when they are sick, i am sick|sad|
as a parent we care and try to make them better, i even sleep on their room when they are sick.......life of a parent, you do good, when not getting better in your eyes get her to the doc!I hope she gets better soon!

Thanks Uncle Nate, and everyone else, appreciate it, so far so good, knock on wood. Got her to get down some meds last time maybe that will help her sleep through the night, maybe she will sweat it out a little and feel better in the AM. Fingers crossed.

It really sucks when your kids are sick and feeling bad...especially at that age! I have found (with my daughter) that for the symptoms you have mentioned, Benedryl is awesome...even helps them sleep. Good luck with her, and hope she feels better soon!

It sucks when kids are sick John. My 16 year old daughter used to have her temp raise to 105-106 for no apparent reason. She was between 1 and 3 when this happened. The doctors did all sorts of tests and all they could come up with was her "internal thermostat" was out of wack.

She grew out of it by the time she was 4. Thank God because when her temp would raise that high, she would go into convulsions and we would have to put her in a cold bath tub.

I hate it when the kids get sick :(

Jesus Jim I would have lost my mind God Forbid my daughter had a temp like that!

Had my wife take her to the Doctor today, my little trooper didnt even say anything, but she has an Ear & Sinus Infection :( :( :(

Makes me sad.

Hope she feels better soon, my son went through the same thing from age 1 to 3. Lot of ear infections and there were many nights that I just sat by his bed all night long reading books (I hate reading but kept me awake) to make sure he was ok. Now he is 12 and I wish he could shut up more often :( J/K

I remember all the ear infections that my daughter went thru, it was painful just to watch her go thru that! She's in highschool now and it's going to be painful to let her date in 2 months when she turns 16.!!!
