That does suck but with all the tech the teams have, why did any of them need signals?

Nobody on the defense (players) has a headset in their helmet like the quarterback on the offense does. So they still use hand signals. I think that is going to change this year.

You are correct about that Maj Stress..this year the defensive captain on the field or one designated defenseive player will have areceiver much like that of a QB to get play calls in.


On a side note, does anyone disagree with the rule changes where the player even if pushed out is ruled out of bounds?
