I find getting shot at more offensive than tits and ass, but then again, I don't helm the DoD and get to make dumb decisions like this one.

This is no joke. I read in "Instructions for American Servicemen in Iraq During WWII" (a field manual given to US soldiers stationed in Iraq during WWII to keep it from Nazis influence -- and to protect the oil, I'm sure):

"Prostitutes do not walk the streets but live in special quarters in the cities"

So where the US soldiers of yesteryear were told where the prostitutes were located, the US soldiers of today need to be censored from Playboy and Penthouse magazine.

Hell yes.

Having a bunch of torqued up and sexually starved men are more aggressive. Allowing them porn and time to masturbate may make them more human.

I mean, it's not like these guys are old enough to drink or in their sexual prime or anything like that.

U.S. Rep. Paul Broun is a fucking idiot!

I served our country honorably for 22 years and lived overseas for 13 of them. The Base/Post exchanges are the only place many overseas service members can get adult reading material in the English language. The men and women of the military don't need his fucking censorship - preventing fuck-heads like Paul Brown from stripping constitutionally protected freedoms for all Americans is their duty - and this prick wants to do just that to then men and women in uniform - I hope he chokes on his mistresses dick!

The UCMJ (Uniform Code Of Military Justice) already strips way too many freedoms from our men and women in uniform - when are we going to wake up and start protecting their rights as they protect ours?

My letters to my Congressman and Senior and the not so honorable Paul Broun will go out this weekend.

Soldiers will continue to look at porn. Now making Porn "Contraband". In High Times they have pics of some soldiers smoking weed. So I think the hardcore porn fanatic soldiers will continue with the hand book. No pun intended

The place where the story broke - GRAFENWOHR, Germany - is a long way from a war zone - and most Soldiers and Airmen have their families with them there. Grafenwohr is a small town in North-Easter Bavaria not far from the Czech Republic where we (the Americans) have a large gunnery range for tanks and artillery. Very much like what we have here in Colorado Springs at Fort Carson. The major difference is here in the US, shoulders have the ability to run downtown and buy a copy of their favorite softcore magazine in their native language, at Grafenwohr, the only options to get a copy of Playboy ot Penthouse, is through the mail or through the Army and Air Force Exchange service (AAFES) who run the base and pose exchanges around the world.

This prick wants to castrate the rights of service members to get three more right wing votes at home.

I had to go to Grafenwohr 4 or 5 times when I was in the service 30+ years ago. I doubt if it's changed much all there is to do there besides work on and fire tanks is get drunk and beat off.

Been there 3 or 4 times myself - not to shoot artillery but to hunt the wonderful red deer and European wild pigs that live on the gunnery range.
