Good morning. It's May 24th weekend here. Iti is also known as Victoria Day in honour of the much dead Queen. Many adults go to their cottages this weekend. Others do the first gardening work of the year. That is where you'll find me today, if I can find the lawn mower. Have a great day all!

Damn, I'm so sore from three days of doing yard work that I can barely get out of bed this morning. Finally finished the de-jungleing of the northwest corner of my property and moved the hammock under the remaining eureka palms.

Morning
Another either long night or very early morning (take your pick).

A quick tip...
Don't get into an argument with a Christian family member about religion. :) I made my sister in law cry and felt horrible.

I slept like shit last night - figures after 3 decent days that I'd be a mess today.

Not much on the agenda other than hockey.

ArtWilliams 2008-05-18 10:25 AM

Ha, very funny GG! I think it is a third Monday is May thingy. It always screws me up. Young adults call it May 2-4 (two-four) weekend because you buy and drink a case of 24 beer!

Good morning Gang!

cd34 2008-05-18 11:01 AM

After many, many hours testing a theory, denouncing several different approaches as failures, last night while trying to baseline the project to find out where the issues were, I determined I had a flaw in my test method. So, today is going to be spent putting together a new test platform to confirm my original beliefs, which, based on analysis of the failures probably means that one of my early theories was valid.

Lesson learned. When testing, make sure you're testing the right things. Conclusions based on bad data creates bad conclusions.

Back to the grind. Hopefully today will be a productive one for everyone.

I remember back in my punchcard computer classes being taught "garbage in garbage out."

Got my grocery shopping done early, did some yard work and now planning the ribeye's, baked taters and sauteed portabella shrooms and onions for later. I think I'm back on track submitting a site a day finally. Since Christmas I've been out of town helping my brother work on his house so much I didn't do much submitting and now I'm feeling the crunch in my wallet.

docholly 2008-05-18 12:04 PM

*hands on wide hips*..

Ok which one of you sent this in to Post Secret???

RedCherry 2008-05-18 12:22 PM

Good Morning all. They are calling for 100 here, so I'll be working in my dark, cool little office today. :D Submitting galleries plus some work for my non-adult client.

Have a good one all!

Good old GIGO days. I remember writing COBOL code for colleage classes on a PCJr with 512k ram and no hard drive, having to swap floppies between the compiler, and the disk I was writing my program on. We started that right after we did our first and only punch card programs. |loony|

Good day,
It started to rain when I woke up, then turned into a storm with thunder, hail as big as cherries, power went in and out so I had to wait.. now here I am not sure how long, hopefully long enough to finish my not so important chores.

Hi, I'm fucked! |waves|

My production rig died yesterday, I'm almost positive it's a hardware failure because it's fucked even just getting into the BIOS. Luckily I think I was able to grab all of the data off of it.

So... I had to order a new rig last night and I'm now waiting for Dell to build and deliver it. I have no plans yet how I'm going to get into my emails, build sites or cut movies until then.

Grrrr!

Torn Rose 2008-05-18 01:04 PM
