Good Saturday Morning
 

Hard to believe my first ever good morning thread started. :)

Been up for 2 hours thanks to some moron kid leaving a window open and the mosquitoes buzzing around woke me up. Since I was up now I decided to get started on work. By noon I'll have a full day in. :D

Then it's yard work, pool cleaning and a friend's birthday party tonight so bunch of us are going out.

I know that "up early 'cause of the mosquitoes" problem very well. Even with no kids here, there's evidently still a moron who lets them in. (Okay, yes, I do live alone...what's your point?)

Getting ready to go visit some friends for the long weekend, and will be back on Monday afternoon. Bummer, I will miss OTB today.

Morning all. It is only 45 degrees here, still wet and gloomy, and the mountains around the town are covered in snow. Hard to believe that just a few days ago, it was 105. |huh

Still have allergies/cold driving me crazy, but my cats are much better I'm happy to report. |thumb So today I'm working on porn, and if the rain holds off, probably getting some yardwork down while it is so cold out. Only predicted to have highs in the mid 60s so good day for it.

Emmy & BlueBrit got here around 6 last night & we got caught up & had sundaes |thumb

I then slept for 9.5 hours & woke up yawning :(

So, the plan is to hang out during the day & watch Game 1 of the NHL Finals tonight on CBC (or Versus for the rest of you)

As Greenie said, Emmy and I are down in sunny Buffalo for the weekend. Emmy disappeared earlier for an all day bingo session with the bitch so we have a day of peace and quiet ahead of us. I have some work to do later but all I can manage at the moment is a yawn.

Morning all:) its 5:53 midday here (almost eve)!
Just did my thing yesterday and today and i have promise my son to watch national treasure hunt 2 (or whatever that movie is named) with him this eve, seems hubby is to busy with his work and my daughther is to busy with her friends on the net , so me and my son will watch the movie together and i bought a ton of snacks to join us:D

Needing a puke bucket next to my side of the bed pretty much sums up what my morning has been like.

I only drank half a Captain and Coke...

We went out to the woman's club up the street last night. Not sure why but the music in woman's clubs usually sucks and last night was no exception so we walked a few blocks to a gay guy club as gay guy clubs always seem to have the best dance music and we wanted to dance. We got there and I ordered a drink. Right after I got my drink this guy came up to us saying he was straight and was just at a gay bar because his sister dragged him there and then went on telling us how hot he thought the two of us were.. blah, blah, blah... He was real aggressive and it took us a few minutes to get his hands off of us and to get rid of him but the best I can tell he slipped something in my drink because right after I drank about half of it the room started spinning, sweat started pouring off me, and within ten minutes I was getting very sick.

Went straight home only stopping so that I could puke. Puked a bunch more times after getting home and I'm just now starting to feel better.

Today is already a disaster for me. Going to run an errand that will probably cause more drama and then I think I'm taking my kids to my parent's house & hiding out. |couch|

Morning. Slept a ton last night and now I'm feeling pretty good. Didn't go to bed until late because I watched TV and worked on a design at a snails pace. However, I guess getting some done is better than nothing.

Got a couple people in town for memorial day they just happen to be in different places so going to be interesting to see how I manage to see both groups. I'm hoping though that I can get them to the same place later.

Cleo that sucks about getting drugged. :( No good at all.

Yesterday I didn't make it to golf as it was raining so bad. Instead went bowling. :)

Morning..er afternoon..
uh make that evening..

Gawd i hate changing time zones..
We're here in beautiful downtown Denver @ the historically old Brown Palace. Got in about 3pm yesterday .. and our "party" had a reception at high tea but as promised my Bloody Mary was waiting.

All the hoopla is over tonight.. and we'll be headed back to Vegas in the AM. Went to the Denver Art Museum and walked a bit around downtown..Saw the REI flagship store.

Anyway hope everyone had a decent day.. and a pleasant night tonight.. I feel the bar calling me. |thumb
