Porn Search Engines - Worth It?
 

I have found a whole host of search engines aimed directly at porn surfers. Obviously they are never going to match the pulling power of google, but are any of them worth their salt and worth submitting to (most of them I have found require hard links to them on your index page).

They can be beneficial for page rank but don't expect a ton of traffic that last.

Make an "index" page with their hardlinks on specially for them. Leave your main index page as clean as possible.
Every opportunity to get legit visitors to your site is a good one.

@fonz, are you suggesting having two index pages, one called index.html which is the main entry page, and then another called eg index2.html with all the hardlinks?

@jds - I don't have the links to hand, it was just general noticing them whilst surfing around.

I see it the same way as it is with freesites and galleries. The page where you put up the recip links is the page you submit to the TGPs and LLs. You create a clean page to send your own hub traffic to...

or not a repute site

don't ever do it

recipicol links never do a good thing to you

I rather submit my site to directories without link to them

I'd prefer to stick with non-reciprocal links as well, and I don't like fonz's idea very much, what would happen if you get a reputation for cheating the system?

Im starting my own search engine and would not see a problem with making different entrance pages. if i submitted my sites to a se i wouldnt want to have a link to them on my main page unless they were sending me some decent traffic. recipicol links are not always a bad thing, you just dont want to have 50 million of them on your main site page.
