Hello Please check our StereoCamera Self Made...

Greenguy 2008-06-13 11:09 AM

I don't get it.

Originally I thought it was related to:

http://neil.creek.name/blog/2008/03/...ake-3d-photos/
http://digital-photography-school.co...-to-make-them/

But, its more likely a setup to do the red/blue 3D since those look like video cameras and not stills. Didn't see a polarized filter on either lens, so, would probably have to be the red/blue glasses video.

Sort of the next generation I would assume. Would have been cool to see some of the results from that setup.

Flickr had a pretty cool stream of the cross-eyed stereoscopic pictures:

Rock landscapes seem popular as are buildings.

This is a 3D crosseye image.
To view in 3D slowly cross your eyes until you have three images - the centre image is in 3D ! - Hope you like it !

I don't get it? Cross my eyes HOW?
Some people are really really bored

JohnnyR 2008-06-13 11:43 AM

Apparently there's a guide. http://neil.creek.name/blog/2008/02/...3d-photos/#how

For some reason this nonsense is really, really pissing me off. SO if you didn't know what 3d was, you're supposed to take 2 pics of the same thing (for the 2nd pic move the camera a few inches to a side), put them one near the other, cross your eyes until you look like this and then call this new "technology" 3D. Go figure...

Greenguy 2008-06-13 02:50 PM

I still don't get it.

You have an eye on the left and an eye on the right with separation of 2.5"-3" for most faces. Our eyes are forward facing and therefore we have depth perception -- a required trait for predatory animals.

So, they mounted two cameras on a tripod that replicate the view that two eyes would see. I would assume that they will run the cameras in full manual settings, with autofocus so that lighting between the two cameras would be the same. This way they end up with a left image and a right image that are able to be merged using some software and create a red/blue shift video so that surfers can see 3-D porn movies using the wacky glasses.

Imagine the new wave of 3D facial freesites... Reviewers, get those glasses ready.

Not so quickly man.
We shoot content with these cameras and we can show it to you soon. As well as erotic content and none erotic.

Hmmm. I just read something the other day about Score -- at least I think it was Score -- releasing their first 3d big tit movie. Obviously gigantic tits flapping around in 3D could be quite the experience.

So now I've got this great idea for a cumshot video where the guy blows his load towards the camera...oh wait, no one's gonna want to be on the receiving end of that. Well maybe Useless, but he's too cheap to buy porn. |badidea|

I did an experiment years ago with a site called "Scratch 'n Sniff Lesbians",
it was a freesite and got almost as many hits as my Naked Sheep site :D
I'd bring the site back, but I don't think it will work with flat screen monitors since they scratch too easily |huh

I looked at the picture & the 1st thought that popped into my head was Johnny 5 from Short Circuit

|couch|

I then thought about the Sony Camcorder I bought in 1998 or 1999 & remembered that there were 2 audio outputs on it, meaning that it was recorded in stereo. So you don't need 2 cameras to record in stereo.

Then Sparky & Johnny started to talk logically & I felt stupid, so I mocked some more.

Now that's cool. Just have to keep your eyes crossed long enough and concentrate on the center image and viola! I guess some people have too much time on their hands.

Maybe it's the fact that I can't see good in distance or something but when I try to cross my eyes and concentrate on anything it all becomes blurry! Seems like I can't be buggered to do the effort and learn how exactly do I need to screw with my eyes (crossing your eyes often and long enough fucks with your eyes muscles and could result in damaging your vision - I heard this from an optometrist a while back) so 'til further notice all I'm seeing is still 2 copies of the same picture :D
