Loads fine for me. :)

Do a traceroute from your end to see where the trouble is.

This is what the page says on it

I'm not sure how to do a traceroute on a PC.

On a Mac we would open up a terminal and type traceroute bellsdirectory.com

Maybe try going to your Start menu and go to the Run item and type "traceroute bellsdirectory.com"

Bell 2004-02-11 11:45 AM

this is coming up now:
http://www.BellsDirectory.com/tgp/

but now the admin won't let me log in

it's giving me this message:

A FATAL CGI ERROR HAS OCCURRED
==============================
Error Message : install_driver(mysql) failed:

which is also the message I am getting if I try to
click the link at the top of this page:
http://www.bellsdirectory.com/tgp/

where it says this:
Webmasters - Submit Your Gallery Here

I am getting that same error message....

is anyone else seeing the same thing ??

has anyone heard of something new out there like
that going around ??

thanks for checking...

Nupe, script error |sad|

Bell 2004-02-11 12:27 PM

thanks for checking...

it's the servers problem...

I just reported it to them...

I wonder why that all of a sudden would have started
happening... ??

would having a ton of galleries in the que waiting for
approval have caused something like this ??

Not likely. Do you backup your db regularly?

Cleo 2004-02-11 02:17 PM

Sounds like your script has somehow gotten screwed up.

I have close to 10,000 galleries waiting for review over at my TGP so I doubt that it has anything to do with having a lot of galleries waiting for review.

Have you changed anything, has your server been upgraded, what is different today then it was yesterday?

If you go to your server's control panel is MySQL running?

nothing was changed by me...

they just fixed the submit page - but I noticed on it
that there is now a PHRASE on that form that I didn't
put there.... where the AutoGallerySQL submit form
asks the webmaster for the passphrase - - - -now it
mysteriously says: THE GD MODULE IS NOT AVAILAVLE

isn't that weird ???
I didn't do that...

Sounds to me like the guys at M3 may be monkeying around with something, maybe an update or something like that. A missing module usually means something didn't get uploaded or permissions/paths weren't set correctly.

I hear M3 is top notch, so I'm sure they'll get it sorted out.

Cleo 2004-02-11 02:45 PM

Sounds like your server software was upgraded. This is not something that is usually done without you asking this to be done.

I did ask for my server software to be upgraded on one of my servers seeing as MySQL started giving me problems due to my increased traffic. In my case some of the paths for my scripts changed and ImageMagic had to be reinstalled. It wasn't a big deal other then I also decided to upgrade my mailing software and that was a big pain in the ass.

Anyway the GD MODULE is server software and it needs to be reinstalled by your host.

Bell 2004-02-11 02:56 PM

is the GD MODULE the name of the module
or did the GD mean slang for G _ d D_mm

now watch...
the GD will have been the ligitamate NAME for the
actual module and then my eMail to them asking
why they put a slang phrase on my form will be...
well.... they'll either get a good laugh... or they will
be pissed at little Bell...

they've been quite good other than that...

otherwise I wouldn't be there...

Sometimes I wonder about you Bell.

No it is not the God Damn module. I'm sure tech support will be helping you as soon as they climb back on their chairs. :D

GD module lets scripts create GIFs. Like the one that is created for the Passphase.

If it is missing then your script cannot display it and puts that message there.

dantheman 2004-02-11 03:23 PM

i think corey has her fixed up, Bell if not continue to talk to corey via email to get your site working like it should :)

and traceroute from windows is done like so
start/run and type cmd
nice litle black dos window pops up
type tracert (and the ip address or url of where ya wanna trace to)
hit enter
the route will pop up giving you the hops and how many ms it takes from one to the other..
