Roboform

I’ve used this software before to do a round of submits and it really made the whole process of submitting easier and more efficient.

So my question is how do LL owners feel about someone using some kind of form filling software like roboform and is their any other software that would be acceptable to use when doing submits?

Fonz 2008-06-30 11:24 AM

I'm using roboform to submit my freesites. As long as you check that all the info in every form is correct and fits the LL webmaster's conditions there shouldn't be a problem. Just don't start doing "autosubmits"

japamor 2008-06-30 11:44 AM

I couldn't do without Roboform. It saves so much time.
And I've certainly got no problems with submitters using it.

horndog 2008-06-30 11:52 AM

I don't submit to enough link list to use some kind of autosubmit software and woudn't do it any way because I know it would lead to an automatic ban. Just looking for something to help with submits as I don't mind designing sites but don't enjoy submitting that much. Roboform is still a little tricky though as you have the fill form and fill and submit button right next to each other.

Anyway thanks for the replys and just wanted to get a heads up on if anybody used it or what they thought about it.

robo Form is probally the most time saving program i have ever used

Mr Spock 2008-06-30 11:16 PM

I use a FF plugin called Fireform - works like a bomb. It doesn't autosubmit though - you have to manually hit the submit button.

Do you guys use the paid or free version of Roboform?

Ive been using Roboform for about 2 years now and never had any problems, but as Fonz said you have to check all the info is correct before clicking on the submit button

I use paid version. I forget how much it cost, which means it wasn't too much. :)

horndog 2008-07-01 06:32 PM

I got the free version which means I'm being a cheap bastard that should probably upgrade to the Pro Version. |haha

Mr Spock 2008-07-02 10:47 AM

What's the difference between the paid and free version - function wise?

Stores more logins, allows you multiple personalities, more flexible backup options, etc.

Its worth it. I have their main ware plus their USB key ware. Can copy all logins/info from desktop to USB drive and sync between the two without drama.

when i made free sites i always submitted by hand...yeah i could have used roboform but for some reason i found hand submitting easier, the same why i always handcoded my sites..which i still do , so or i am a stupid moron (which is probably the case) or i just wanna be sure all goes like i want and that is in my eyes...all by a mens hand........( probably i talk chinese here, but i know what i mean:D)

I use the paid version of roboform to submit my free sites and I even use it some for gallery submissions (I do a limited number of these so roboform works like a charm). Love it and couldn't be productive without it. :)

I use Password Depot for years now, works great for me :)

Sven800 2008-07-29 08:43 PM

Copy - Paste from an Excel Spreadsheet. I guess you could call that semi-hand submitted.

secretagentwilly 2008-07-30 08:58 PM

I'll have to look into this...a manual assist would be nice...I've reduced my mirrors because I can't cut and paste into 80 forms a day...

NY Jester 2008-07-31 09:55 PM

RoboForm is your friend. But Im going to look into the FF plug-in mentioned above.

horndog 2008-08-01 09:32 AM

I've tried Copy and Paste before, it's helpful but I still like Roboform better. :D
