Auto Tagging using local database
 

I notice it warns you (Warning, this option can increases the CPU consumption a lot if you have many tags) Does it really slow your whole box down that much? We don't have a lot of blogs right now, but would it be a big drag if you checked it and had a lot of blogs?

Right now I only have 3 blogs I'd be doing that on, because the rest we do by hand, but I could see if I get a lot of splogs going, maybe it would cause issues...

I have no problems using a local database of a couple hundred tags...at least my host isn't yelling about it. I think it would take a couple thousand before it could start problems.

Hey Walrus I have a wordpress blog that's loading up slow as hell, 900+ keywords can I get you to check it out in Vegas to see if it's my tags causing the slow loads or if it's an"Operator Error"?
Also I know some of us bloggers will want to get together to BS (Brain Storm) if we can't find a quiet place we can use my room.
