Interesting Traffic Source

Just checking my stats and I'm getting a decent amount of targeted traffic from http://kinkyforums.com/forum/index.p...w&postID=72252

He/she is hotlinking the pics but sending the traffic to my sites - and as far as I can tell, he/she is not attaching an affiliate code - but they are sending the traffic to me on the sites I have Jayda listed.

They obviously did a little research to find the sites she's on - even has my (and some of your) free sites and blogs listed.

I'm not going to bitch about the traffic cuz it's not stripping aff codes and it's the major source of traffic for http://www.realhomemadesexmovies.com/?s=jayda&x=26&y=11 and I made three sales from that site this week ;-)

Who-is looks clean but it's not a name I have in my affiliate database.
If it's one of us - let me know and I'll make sure you get updates...... |thumb

What makes me nervous is that the poster knows, or at least purports to know, where the girls work. That's a pretty bad privacy/safety issue. Model identity is one of the big legal hurdles for 2257 legislation. If I were you, I'd try and contact the forum owner and have them delete that text from the post. If not, block them in .htaccess so that no faces will go along with the info.

The 3rd photo in that post is missing your watermark and it has mostly been cropped out of the 4th photo. Like it or not, the reality is that people will redistribute your content without your permission. Adding your watermark to every photo ensures that potential buyers who come in contact with such content have a way to find the path back to your door.

Perhaps, I'm missing something, but how would blocking pictures with .htaccess help shield someone's identity, when there are direct links to galleries with images of that person on it?

Good point. But he could also use .htaccess to deny all direct traffic from that site. There will still be copy-and-pasters, but far fewer than those who would click the published links. Obviously, communicating with the forum owner would be the smoothest route, assuming they are not total fucking cunts like most porn surfer forum owners. The fact that their moderators, assuming that there are some, don't automatically delete personal info is a bad sign.

He/she gets this from my colorado-strip-clubs.com blog - her "stripper identity" is part of the "for the public" info that I can release based on their contracts. In fact - most of the girls that work for me use the same mane on my site as they use in the club(s) that they work at. In most cases, they make sales for me and more money in the clubs by doing this. If a girl is dumb enough to link her real identity to her porn and or stripper names - then she's a fool.

As for your safety concerns - all of the local clubs have procedures in place to ensure that dancers are not followed home form work when they go home or not given rides by customers or people that they have not previously registered with the clubs.

Cuz I forgot to watermark it when I put it up - I'll fix it when I get around to it |crazy| I 'm an advocate of watermarks but sometimes I screw up :D

Well, I suppose strippers want to be found and to build a fan base. After all, they do dance naked in front of strangers. Of course, most porn models don't want to be found, don't want to mingle with the sick puppies who adore them - with pretty good reason.

BTW - I'm generally not a fan of strippers. I've only met one stripper (former) who I judged to be a somewhat normal, functioning adult. The rest scare the shit out of me.
