Google listing

I have a website http://www.Filthy-Frank.com that was listed on the page 2 if you searched for "Gangbangs" I now am not even listed in the first ten pages. Can anyone tell me how this can happen if I did not change anything on the site. Can it be that I have not made any changes in too long of a time? Thank you

Too many potential reasons, all of 'em trade secrets to Google... that and Google likes to dance. |bananna|

Edit: If you want more attention from Google, do more work. Can't stand still if you want Google to think you're the coolest guy in the club.

Virgo is right, if nothing on your site changes, they may well think its a dead site, to drop that much though is insane! Hope you manage to get it back up mate.

Google used to love me now I'm not even sure if Google likes me

Yeah, every once in a while we forget that we're in an abusive relationship with the Google bitch.
But if you just give her a little time, she'll always remind you eventually.

(unless you remind her first)

if the site is relatively new (under 6 months) you got "sandboxed".

Saturnin 2008-07-21 05:10 PM

I hadn't updated the site in a few weeks and bumped an average of three places as of last weekend. I cover around twenty different categories, a couple went up and the others went down by three, or even up to ten places. No real explanation, but traffic seems to be the same. Sales are down, but that's July.

I scored a few one way listings last month, and have a new marketing campaign next month, so everything should be right by Sept.w/ Google.

Still don't get much traffic from Yahoo or MSN, even though the Yahoo bot takes up the most MBs of any bot on my site every month.

Does that help improve rank at all? I used to do stuff like that a while ago on one of my non-adult sites and apart from the traffic from the sites I didn't notice any improved search engine traffic as a result.

But Dave! He's got "SEO" in his username! He must know what he's talking about! It's not like people give themselves these titles!

"Dear google.com,
I visited your website and noticed that you are not listed in most of the major search engines and directories..."

What would be your reasoning behind that statement?

That is why I questioned it!

And post count is totally irrelevant to business knowledge.

One reason is that those sites have hundreds of thousands of back links and a ton of content. In many situations, they're more likely to get your SE traffic for listing your content than you will for creating it. Plus, a bunch of them don't allow adult content. Matt is an ass, but he's a handsome, handsome man.|thumb
