Yowcow, alternative to PayPal?
 

OK, so Ynot had an ad for these people

They are saying they're an alternative to Paypal, will accept all sites, and have been running for 2 years.

I don't know what to think. Would anyone consider using these guys? General opinions?

I think the problem with al these "alternative to PayPal" ideas is that they are just starting out, where PayPal has been around sicne 98 or 99? I don't think I got my PayPal account until 2001, mostly because I didn't know who they were & was very skeptical about my banking info being in someone elses hands. Of course, once they had name recognition, it was a little easier to convince myself to get an account.

I guess what I am saying is along hte lines of "Time will tell....."

I've been watching their marketing for a year or so. I really don't want to use anything especially after the fiasco with PayPal being bought by eBay. |sad|

I guess I was just really liking the idea of a payment processing site that doesn't give adult sites shit and that is reliable... I know there are other ones out there like ePassporte. But I guess it does come down to the issue of giving people access to your bank accounts, and trusting them.

I guess I was wishing for a payment option that's so good everyone will rush it and suddenly all our current CC issues are solved. I want the quick fix!!

I know certain sponsors rue the loss of Paypal - but frankly I'm glad it's gone - they never paid us for SUs using it....

If this mob has the ability to pay us affiliates then I'd have no issue promoting proggies that used it - otherwise I'd drop em cold...

Some mob paying for web900 SUs should not rank as "news" IMO - the fact that they didn't pay us in the past should...
