Vegas - January 2009 - Vacation Dates?
 

A couple of us talked about going down to AVN's Clusterfuck in Vegas this Jan 12-14 - maybe we can go down a couple days early & maybe we can stay a couple days late.

CES & AEE is Jan 8-11 (right before the webmasters) so arriving on the 12th (Monday) might be good timing as the hotels will be emptying out a bit. Flights into Vegas might be a little cheaper on the 12th as well as most of the CES/AEE people will be going home. Of course, this might also be the same for the 11th since it is a Sunday.

Either way, going down early seems a bit silly unless you need to go to AEE for some reason.

My suggestion is that we stay a couple days after & hang out without the AVN Clusterfuck.

There's a good chance the wife will come this year and if that's the case then yes we'd be interested in staying a few extra days.

This year has been a complete disappointment as far as travel goes, so I'd be very interested, especially if we can work it so that the wife can come along too. Hopefully we'll be able to find someone to take the dogs to school and stop by to make sure the kids have fresh water. Realistically, there's no hope, but stranger shit has happened.

Sounds interesting, I'll come if you'll have me. Please keep in mind I speak un-understandable English :)

Very true. I generally don't talk to women (they're scary and foreign to me), but D2222 happily placed a skank on my drunken lap in Vegas. Had I been undrunkly discerning, I probably wouldn't have wanted that particular girl. But it was nice at the moment. :D

*and yes I realize that a feminist or two wouldn't appreciate me referring to that girl as a skank, but she was a skank and I'm fairly certain that she was pretty damned proud of her skankitude (or is skankosity?). Preacher wouldn't even look at her and was embarrassed to be in her presence. Not me though - I'm a man of the people. I embrace all. Even skanks.

I did really enjoy staying an extra day and going over to Red Rock Canyon when I went a few years ago and might consider doing something like that again.

I'll be here regardless. :) Would be cool to see you guys again and meet those of you I haven't met yet.
