I can't seem to get banners, content, nothing. What's the deal?

I guess they're too busy dealing with all that money they're making from the
two pre-checked cross sales well below the submit buttons on their join pages. {insert sarcasm smiley here}

Porn mega Bucks has been dead for some time, old news. Also been for sale for quite a while. Last I checked some months back my Epoch account with PMB was in the negative by a good amount from all the surfers charging back.

Maybe they were accusing too many webmasters of fraud |huh

I still get rebills from them and a very occasional sale.

FWIW, Porn MegaBucks was sold about three weeks ago. I've not heard who the new owner is, but I have a pretty good idea.

PMB has been sold, and I'm no longer with them.

I wish I could have given everyone some notice, but I wasn't given notice of my termination of employment so I wasn't able to inform people as i would have liked.

Ah, well this is news to me. I wonder if it's time to start pulling links... as if I don't have a million other things to do. Or I wonder if the new owner will zhzoosh things up a bit...

It would have been nice to have received an email or some notice about this from the old and/or new owners :( no one has any respect for affiliates these days!

Believe me Emerald, I feel the same way.

If I had had sufficient notice of what was happening, I would have emailed the affililates and kept them informed as best I could.

Unfortunately that option was taken out of my hands.

I don't understand why Epoch kept processing for them. I'm sure I am not the only one that was seeing only chargebacks and refunds. Or many people not checking their stats.

Bill use to be a some what up standing person in the biz, least I thought so. Course if he told affiliates, guess there wouldn't be much of a program left to sell.

Pulled all my links when I was accused of fraud a year or so ago.
Funny how that works. One day they accuse a webmaster of fraud, another day they don't pay anyone. And I thought AVS's were bad |huh

So I'll say it here too...I'm looking for work. Not full-time, but if anyone has boring menial jobs that can be done remotely (reviewing, customer service emails from members, etc) let me know

I don't want a full-time position running a program, but I'm keen to stay on in the industry, if only for the people. :)

Dayum i havent used them in a bit pulled alot of there links already due to well shit sales meaning NONE in a very long time. Sux that they never bothered to inform anyone. I hate doing search and replace in regards to links Blahh . more work

nm... this is off topic, but does everyone keep track of which sponsors are on which Free Sites so if something like this happens again, its easy to pull links?

I have such list but changing banners/links on few months old free sites would be too much hassle in my opinion (unless you have tons of sites promoting one sponsor) At the very beggining I was told not to put all eggs in one basket to prevent such situations, and thats what I'm doing and advise every one else too.
Though, I have a spreadsheet with exact site name/sponsor/date of submission of each FS.

One of my first big design jobs, when I was a bit of a newbie in this business, was a huge banner order for Bill. It helped fund some of my other business interests and we even had an amazing sushi dinner here in Vegas.

Sad to see a once great program have it's problems.

Lisa, was just about to send you an email - glad I checked the board first. What really upsets me is that my link was changed - and no notice from the new owner. All that free traffic going to Women's Porno. Good luck getting a part time job with someone. You are/were always great to deal with.

Huh. For some reason I thought the links were still being tracked. I don't want to even think about how many old sites I've got out there pushing WP. PMB were one of the first companies I signed up to. Oh well.

wow..all these voices from the past! I will be checking my sites as well for old dead links and swapping them out for neat new spiffy ones. Sigh.. Oh, well.. may as well freshen things up a bit, too! Thanks for the heads up!

I suppose it's possible that the clicks are being registered - I don't know enough about the workings of all that code stuff. lol But, all the hosted galleries are gone, there's no banners - it's a ghost town inside the webmasters area. I'm sorry to see this happen. Women's Porno was one of the first sites we got for the 4Women market.

Pagan, yep, seems like a lot of "oldies" are still hanging around. lol I still check the boards from time to time. And you're right - time to do some spiffing up and change up some ads.
