Hello everyone! Just thought I would make an appearance on here and hope for the best.|bananna|

Here's the scoop, I built sites about 4 years ago, the industry has changed ALOT since I was last in the biz. Started back up with a few mini galleries, cant seem to get listed. That or no one sends confirmation emails anymore. Any suggestions/advice would great struggling to get back in.

I have only managed to get listed at hoes.com with no word from the others.

Why dont you have any ads on index and main page? you can use 3 per page.
Your links to the sponsor site on your gallery pages are all blind, you should tell the surfer where hes going if he clicks there.
I also think you should invent some new templates (they all look the same but with different colors)
You site and mirrors should be in the same directory (gallery pages are somewhere else)
you might also want to use some description and keyword tags, but thats not a must.
Some lists might decline your site because the lack of nudity in the content.
Just for the record, when did you send the freesite? Some link list are days even weeks before reviewing, so dont expect to get all the acceptance/rejections emails right away. And some don't even send any so you have to check on your stats or by hand if your sites have been listed there.

so index.html, gallery1, and gallery2 should all be in the same directory? Not sure what you mean by my mirrors. I know about the template thing... I've been trying to find time to make new temps before building any more galleries. and could you elaborate further on keyword tags? are they just words pertaining to the page content?

After you build the site, make a new folder with a name for a new site, copy the original html pages and paste them into the new folder. Take the copied pages and change the title to match the new folder name and you have a mirror of the original site. On your gallery pages link back to the original thumbs and images so you don't have to copy all of them. This way you can take the original site and submit copies of it to more link lists because each mirror has a different name. Oh, and definitely put three sponsor links on every page.

I know bandwidth is cheap but your full size images are huge (KB) and for people still on dial-up they make take a long time to load. I use Irfanview to compress images and make thumbs and it's free. I usually make my thumbs around 6KB and my full size images around 50-70 KB.

So your building different sites with the same images, Just new text? How many times can you do this? This is all news to me, Back in the day of just TGP I remember mirroring sites to change the recip links but with the mini sites is that necessary? Can you submit these images twice? I figured there would be consequences for this. Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get to the bottom of this. apparently things have changed more than I thought!

I don't change the text on every page, just the title. It would probably be better to change more than just the title but I'm too lazy to do that. How many times can you do this? Depends on how many link lists you submit to. I have recip tables with nine recips, three rows of three.(a couple have 12 recips) I make a site and 5 mirrors each with a different recip table.

You can submit the same images to different link lists.

ahhhhh, I see the light now. so it is like the old TGP recip links on the top of the page. just a recip table on the intro page, simple is safe. Thanks for the all the help!
