You don't need to be afraid to submit to Jays XXX Links anymore!

I know that some of you guys have not been submitting to me because I tried the a>b>c linking (which seems to have backfired as far as submissions go) and you were not getting your sites listed by other linklists.

The good news is: We switched back the the straight recip page:
http://www.jays-xxx-links.com/submit_categories.html

There are the same as everyone else's, so there should be no beef.

Also, I'm not sure what happened, but google has again taken a shine to my site and traffic has picked up quite a bit lately.

Maybe it was the recips?

LOL

hashbury 2008-08-04 09:13 PM

I will send a few submits your way, Although when i submitted before my sites were never approved.
Lets see what happens

:D

I submit the sites promoting my own stuff and always get good traffic from you but you don't seem to like the ones with sponsor content on which is a shame.

dareutwo 2008-08-05 07:58 AM

Hash, Klinton -
Put GG&J "in front" of your description when you submit.
Then you'll be sure to get emails.

I agree. It's a shame we have to sign up with sponsors again with Jay's ref code. I won't do it. Just too much pimpin. I sign up under ref codes for new sponsors I'm not already with...

I totally agree. And if I've signed up under someone's ref code already, then this is depriving that webmaster for their referral revenue as well.

Also, I use a lot of sponsor content to promote their sites. But if my site will only be listed for 30 days, I think I'd rather submit to sites that will either list it permanently (or at least a lot longer than 30 days). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there are time limits on the larger LLs like LOR, Tommy's, Smut Gremlins, RR, PB, etc.

dareutwo 2008-08-05 02:32 PM

Just to clarify a couple things.
Listing on Jays last between 4-6 months depending on the number of listings in that category. Some even longer on the micro fetish type sites.

A majority of the declines before was for the recips.

Anyone on this board that would like an email reply on every submit, just put GG&J in the description someplace, and I'll make sure you know why every time.

Fonz 2008-08-05 02:40 PM

I just wished my submits would go through again, I seem to have a problem with submitting to Jays-XXX, liquisexxx and my own LL. All three of them use Linkadmin if I'm not mistaken. I get through everyone elses linkadmin just fine. Strange...

dareutwo 2008-08-05 03:04 PM

Fonz - PM me your submit domain and email, I'll see if it's on our end.

Ok, sorry for the misconception. I was just going by the webmaster page on Jays where it says "Sites with Sponsor Content Will NO longer be listed for 6 months. Based on listings and submits - some site may only last 30 days."

Nah, that's an old idea, back from when people actually bought content for freesites. I gonna pull that link too.

I am rewriting my rules page. It really hasn't changed in over 2 years.

I was never afraid to submit to Jay's. My kung-fu is strong!

Seriously tho, I always had custom recips for jay's one going to the index one to the category page and I never had a problem. Well, my sites didn't always make it (something shady going on there) but enough sites made it trough to know it wasn't because of the recips.

Damn, I forgot to do that |cry|. What's the usual length of time to get reviewed?

2-3 days. Sometimes less.

I whacked that rule and revised this page for the first time in several years:
http://www.jays-xxx-links.com/submit.html

As far as the sponsor content goes, it's always been my view that "why should I accept submissions" when I can just list free hosted stuff from my top sponsors? If you look at that rule it was written in 2005 when people used to buy cheap content and build freesites (strange concept, I know)

I can see how matching the content to what you are selling will make conversions better for submitters, but (in all fairness) I can only list so many NastyDollars, Brazzers, and Bangbros.

My advice is to use a smaller sponsor!

I hope this helps everyone.

I normally review every day except on the weekends. Then it's Sat, Sun or both depending on what in to review.

40 pics on a free site??? This a typo or for real?
