Lookin for a good pay host

I'm lookin around for a new host and I thought I'd hit up the board for some quality places. I'm lookin for .50 gig, speed, script set up, and flexablility in growth.

I use Mindlash. I've only had my site up for a couple days (I got em from another host thread, so somebody else uses em), but...

I got an ICQ a couple minutes after I submitted my order and they were very nice. I'm loving the CPanel thing they have and most importantly, my site works and works without a hassle. Plus I think the pricing (2GB Storage, 17 GB bandwidth, $20 a month) is pretty good.

How many gigs do you burn a month? You should be able to do better than 50 cents a gig if you burn a lot. Pay by the mbs.

What's the bandwidth for? Galleries, free sites, pay sites? For paysites I recommend Isprime or Natnet.

For galleries and free sites, there are a lot of cheaper hosts that will do. Oxeo is a popular choice. Phat Servers.

Here's the one I support - and use.

2 Gigs Storage, 60 Gigs month Transfer $7.50/month. Just another one to consider.

I'm on a host that shares revenue so I'm not sure of how much I burn. I'm looking to open two niche TGPs so I won't be submitting to other places.. that should lower b/w. If I could find a decent price monthly for 300-500 gig transfer ($50 or so) I would consider that for running TGP and submitting. For now, I've seen some great plans to host a TGP and my eye is one two that fit my current needs. |rasta|
