A day of offline work planned for today. I need to hung my TV on the wall but before that I have to run an electrical wire for a new power outlet behind the TV and also run the wires for audio and video also behind the TV. This involves some drywall cutting and patching, a job I am not looking forward to. Otherwise I am hoping for an uneventful and boring day.

One of those days when I am sortof busy, sis will have her bday soon and I am making some preparations with friendly help. Much easier than trying to shop around in da wheelies. A girl friend helps, she is priceless and very nice.

Only 40% chance of thunderstorms and/or light rain showers today. Joy! The sun is shining and I thought that old star had burned out weeks ago.

I finally got confirmation from my mother yesterday that she feels well enough to watch my kids this weekend, and my friend's son is going to do some house-sitting to keep our dogs from pissing off the neighbors while we're away, so I guess the wife and I can have some fun for a couple of days.

If anyone wants to search and tell me how many times I've whined about the rain, my dogs and my neighbors, I promise I won't complain that you are harassing and bullying me.

How about a quick game of tennis?

Packing up for our 2nd wedding at Greenies this weekend and heading out the door in 3 hours (At least thats the plan) Hopefully we wont get rain on the special day like we did for the original wedding.

today is all about school and I have to pick up the laundry so we'll look presentable at least. I think after it's over we'll walk back home. Nothing like a 60 block walk to stimulate the senses.

Morning all:) its 5.08 midday here and its very windy, didnt see the weatherman pronounche that!
Hubby is still fighting with the home cinema movie theater thing|crazy| i told him to leave me alone, i dont care about that thing and i dont wanna know:D
This moment i am planning the birthday party of my daughther for her friends (they stay the night also), i told her to keep it in the holiday because i need her dad to help me out being her "slave" that day. We have to keep in mind, even its summer we still can get a very bad rainy cold day, so the little "almost 14 year old" lady want to go bowling and karten (well we name it karten, its racing in those little race cars which go very fast, the hell, i wont go in those!) Further she want to play all kind of funny games in the pool (even the water is a temp of F60, while it was a week ago F77|shocking|) and she want hubby and me banned from the livingroom in evening and night because then they gonna watch some movies on the big screen.
Its good to be a kid nowadays....in my time as a kid you where glad you got a extra easy birthday party for you and your friends:D

My 80's |headbang| concert last night SUCKED! Testament sounded like complete shit due to some moron running the sound board. Meatloaf and Heaven & Hell sounded good, but I only knew 3 songs. And, I once again confirmed that my community is surrounded by odd looking people.

As far as my plans for today, it appears I have company coming into town? Is there an event here this weekend that no one is supposed to talk about prior to the event itself so that other people do not feel left out until the very last minute? :D

Spell-check corrected it, but I did type "Meatloaf" as "Meatload"

Heaven and Hell didn't impress me at all when I seen them live in Belgium, and I am somewhat of a fan. I plan on never ever seeing Meatloaf since he has performed at least two "last tour evers" and that pisses me off.

That sucks about the bad sound from Testament, they are a band I would love to catch live.

Awe the weather is great here. I feel fresh today for some reason.

I think I might enjoy this last bit of summer and take my daughter to Laguna Beach.
