I don't know... just wanted to get a win-mac fight started :)
I am not surprised that you Cleo was first :) Ok, here are some things that I like about my new toy: I like the size (iP bigger and heavier (if thats a word), feels like my old Qtek), no MMS iP (at least here in Sweden), camera 3.2 (iP 2.0), I can use my HTC as a mobile broadbandmodem for my laptop and of course the OS (but thats probably cause I have had WM since the beginning). 4 gb is more than enough for me. I also like the idea that they let all developers make a lot of useful programs. Some good, some that makes the whole thing crash. If I have understand it right, all iP programs are from Apple? Maybe I am wrong.... |
No MMS on the iphone just seems dumb but it something that I never used anyway.
Camera sucks but it is about the same as all the other phones that I've owned. Lots of developers are writing for the iphone not just Apple, some really kewl games too. Apple just controls what is sold through the iTunes store so no apps that do bad things like crash your phone or worse. No copy and paste is my number one bitch but will be coming in a software update as probably will MMS and other missing things. ATT has iphone tethering blocked but is available for other carriers. I love the way the phone syncs with my laptop. Didn't have to setup anything. Just plugged it into the usb port, told iTunes to sync, and all my emails accounts, addresses, appointments, bookmarks, music with playlists, photos, were synced to my phone without having to think about it. I mostly asked about the HTC because a few people that I know tried it but didn't like it. Most of the people that I know are either going with Blackberries or iPhones. |
I am waiting for the HTC Dream which is the Google sponsored, open source Android phone. According to this site, it looks like the first phone will be offered by T-mobile in October. Until then I will be using my Blackberry.
