Yesterday was the first Friday in over 5 years I didn't go out. Spent the night reviewing and updating stuff, how 'bout that? :)
Just changed some stuff on my main LL, threw away a bunch of unnecessary stuff like ads and dead links. I also noticed I got my TBPR 4 back whatever that may mean.

Anyways, have a nice Saturday all :)

Just back from a trip to stock up on groceries so I don't have to do that again for awhile. I've been using the store's self-checkout for over a year and today all of the self-checkout terminals were offline so I had to use a regular cashier with a guy who bagged my stuff for me. Felt very weird to have people looking at and touching my things again.

Lots to get done today so I'm going to get to it, but wishing all a good first of the weekend and I hope to see some of you at OTB later.

Good morning to all!!

I'm going to try to relax this weekend and not to anything. Spent all of last weekend at the office doing disaster recovery for a server that went down and the past week stressing about getting everything else fixed at the office..... Never worked a 31 hour day before until last weekend. Don't really want to again either.... I'd rather be working on my sites....

Can you write up a tutorial on how to get 31 hours into a day. I could get so much more accomplished with an extra 7 hours each day. ;)

Morning all. Had an incredibly productive day yesterday, hope I can repeat that today. Got a lot of work done, the rest of my tomatoes transplanted into bigger pots, a great workout (finding if I set my laptop on the microwave, I can watch movies while on the treadmill...makes the time pass so much faster) and a bunch of content uploaded for my AVS sites.

So today it is adding all the content to the content script, my usual submits, blogs, and then helping MadHatter film more redneck stuff with his new sound system. Ought to make the next videos a LOT better on sound. |thumb

Well, this summer is officially a wash. Where the hell is the rewind button? I've worked much more physical labor than I like too, but it was to help pay down my credit cards since I was buying content and fun shit like that. We were originally supposed to go to Disney with the kids AND my brother-in-law and his wife - which is why I didn't get to go to XBiz. Luckily, that got canceled. I hated the idea of going on vacation with other my brother-in-law and his annoying never-shut-the-hell-up wife. (Why would we go with them? Why not just go on our own?)


Anyway, since that fell through, they (my wife, her brother and his wife) decided that we'd go away for a few days together. Oh fucking joy! THEY wanted to go camping. I DON'T CAMP. I don't do tents. I don't do outdoor living. So they've rented a camp instead. A camp is basically an old, cramped house that smells musty. And where is this lovely camp? 30 FUCKING MINUTES AWAY!!! I mean, what the fuck? It's not even waterfront. It's an ugly old house sitting in the woods half an hour away. There's no water, no pool, no anything. There isn't a goddamned thing you can do there that you can't do here. In fact, there are many fewer things to do there than here. WHAT THE FUCK? And why - because my sister-in-law doesn't like to go places where there are things to do and see because then she gets stressed thinking about all the things that she has to do and see. WHAT THE FUCK? Plus, she didn't want to spend time and money on traveling to our destination. Look up the definition of VACATION you ignorant cunt. At least we're spending just as much on staying there as we would at a hotel, on a lake, with air conditioning and internet access and within walking distance of several nice restaurants - you dumb fuck.

I'm an air conditioned hotel kind of guy. A let's have fun kind of guy. Not a let's sit on the porch and swat away mosquitoes kind of guy.


So don't be surprised when I bitch about how my wife wants a divorce after I spend several days attempting to make them all as fucking miserable as I'm going to be. And yeah - since it's ONLY 30 MINUTES AWAY, don't be surprised to see me home and post on the board every day. Don't be shocked if I spend a good part of my day home, swimming in my pool and enjoying the quiet splendor of my empty house.

EDIT: My wife came in and I read part of the last paragraph to her and she told me I should stay home. That was easy. |thumb

I can't believe it's already Saturday, for some reason I've hardly gotten anything done this week even though I had lots of things on the old to-do list. I wouldn't mind a couple of those 31 hour days myself *sigh*

I drag her through the mud and go camping "Budget Style" ;) I try to make it an annual thing. I bought some hiking gear too. Theres no way she's doing that one.

She hates it worse then football season. Even though my excuse for football is "It's only 16 weeks out of the year.

Doh! My sister-in-hell mentioned that she had to pack for hiking. So I asked, "what do you have to pack? Shoes?" All I got was a look of contempt.

I don't mind hiking all. But I won't be able to enjoy it because I know that she'll spend the entire time babbling on about those stupid fucking kids she teaches up in that hick town where old what's-her-name lives, drinks jizz and plays a daily game of tennis. (yes, there is always more than what meets the eye)

Good morning everyone.
We had a ride on lawn mower delivered today so that I can cut the grass without having a coronary each time I try to tackle it. I cut the grass earlier this week and that took me all day to do what took me an hour this morning and I was totally fucked at the end of it hence the investment this morning. Of course the downside is I now have no excuse not to cut it!

Now I'm going to sort out the sensor lights outside and then we'll be back for OTB later.

well today sucks not going to get anything done .I just got the news my brother inlaw hung himself lastnight .still in shock and walking around like a chicken with my head cut off .
