Google Suggest
There's been a lot of talk among SEO circles in the past few days about Google Suggest. Opinion is all over the place, from the death of searches over four words to everything being concentrated into a few suggestions by Google.
Any thoughts from this board? (I have my own thoughts, but just wanted to start a topic.) |
thats something new for me. lemme do some research and will get back to you

Do you get much long search traffic anyway? I do from text rich travel sites -- but it isn't significant from my adult sites, even those with lots of text.

some people does a long keyword searches but most relies on a single keyword or two keyword related to their targeted queries that is why you often to get a traffic from a long keyword.

I am waiting until more is known about google suggest before I think about doing anything drastic to my SEO plans, however has it not been pretty standard practice to optimise for a search term of no more than 3 for quite some time anyway?
Usually the longer search terms contain one or two of your keywords, then the extra stuff is just gravy in your content. |
I'm watching it from a PPC perspective to see if it brings more longer tail searches.
A lot of the 2-3 keywords are very competitive, while I can bid less on the longer tail keywords generally with better ROI/conversions. |
