What do you think of this? There was a time that UFC you had to ear your chops..seems as if Dana White has taken a page out of Don King's notebook and bypassed the ladder of success for a "Big Name Match-Up" and to hell with those that have put their time and effort into being the best.

EDIT: Lesnar has an all time MMA record of 2-1 , Im sure there are plenty of pissed of UFC fighter's today

It smells like Dana just wants one last big payday from Couture before he leaves for EliteXC or wherever he's supposed to be going.

I'm thinking Randy will submit Lesnar in the first round.

Yeah, I didnt think Lesnar was ready for this type of match. I'd hate to see UFC turn into a WWE setting where the torch gets passed, good guy vs bad guy etc.

Wonder what the rest of the card will be like? That fight alone isn't enough for me to order the PPV.

This Saturdays PPV looks pretty good. Liddell vs Evans and Franklin vs Hamill. Both should be excellent fights (hopefully :D)

I like Hamill, he was one of the ones I really rooted for on the Ultimate Fighter seasons. Alot of good ones came from that season..Bisban as well.

So I didn't expect the Liddell - Evans match to end like that.. |huh

Did you see they found former UFC champ Evan Tanner dead...He fought Kendall Grove on The Ultimate Fighter 7

i watched my first ever UFC match on Sunday and really n-joyed it

i wish i could add more to this thread however i am a UFC virgin...LOL

Yeah , the Evan Tanner thing was strange, he was going on just prior to that he was going to cleanse his soul. Guess he meant it.

i am randy couture fan since his initial epdsodes of UFC , but then again got busy with the nitty gritty's of life, this is some thing i would like to follow

I just saw Randy Couture defeat a seemingly invincable opponent the other night on UFC Unleashed. It was the one where Randy fought Tim Sylvia in UFC 68 that got him his third heavyweight crown.

I cannot wait to see him fight again in November.

You gotta give it to Randy. He's what, 43 or something like that now - way past retirement age, yet defying the odds. Brock is no joke either. He fought not in the last set of fights, but the one before it, and he was like a pitbull. He kicked the other doods ass.

It will be a spectacular fight I am sure. I would love to actually be there in Vegas when they do fight on November 15th, but you get so much better coverage of the fights on PPV.

Yeah when he fought last month, the first punch he threw just crushed Heredia's face and threw him back across the entire octagon. I personally thing Couture is far too experienced for Lesnar to beat.

I think the only question is how long the fight will actually go.

Im thinking it may go 1 round and into the 2nd..maybe 1:30 into round 2.. Ding Ding!!

i would say it wont go beyond 1st round. randy will crush lensar in the first round itself... and it is going to be bad for lensar inside that octagon
