Good Morning and Happy Newspaper Carrier Day. I guess I should pay my Newspaper Girl today :)

Just about to jump on the scale to see how much weight I gained since yesterday. I had a nice Chicken Capicola last night and I know it was just a touch calorie filled :)

My son is coming over today to work on a new project he has for work. But to do it, he needs to setup military grade wireless protection on my router. That should be a nice new feature for the kid down the street that gets through my wep everyday.

Newspapers... the things that we got our news on once upon a time before the internet and or now still made for putting at the bottom of bird cages.

Watching the triptych of storms in the Atlantic. Ike has me very worried. It's already a cat 4 with wind gusts of 180 mph. Hopefully it will turn or something but right now it is projected to be coming right at us. I feel really bad for the people in the Caribbean Islands.

DirecTV installer is coming this afternoon to run a second line to the Tivo in our bedroom. I threw the last guy out due to him wanting to run the wire all over the walls and around the door of our bedroom. This time I've drilled the holes for him including the one through the 12+ inches of poured concrete that the other installer wouldn't drill through.

I $$#@$^ overslept myself this morning, so it was rush hour for me to get the kids out of bed, make them breakfast and to kick them out of my house:D, in between i had to get my fat ass on the scale and realy needed to make about 7 pics to get a good one, after that i couldnt find the damn cable thing to connect it to my puter! So after alot of cursing i started to pull wallpaper again:D
Now its almost time to pick the youngest kid up at school and i need to buy some meat....i got tons of other things to do also...oh well, we will see where the day ends!

Think I'll have a rasher of bacon and whole wheat toast with butter and honey for breakfast, do my submits for the day then go walk two or three miles around the neighborhood. Rumor has it there's some money on the line |bananna|

We have four independent free local newspapers here, which we refer to collectively as "the local paper" as in "did you see the story in the local paper about the new park opening this weekend?" There's also a paid newspaper and the Miami newspaper which some folks get for some reason, but those aren't 'the local paper' to us down here. Definitely have to wash your hands after reading the locals.

The triptych could be a problem. Not so much Hanna but that Ike could be a serious troublemaker if it can hold onto or rebuild its Cat 4 strength as it gets closer to us. We'll know more by the weekend but the track looks like it's headed this way.

Mostly just a usual work day here, with plans to stand on a scale with a cellphone camera in my hand later this morning after I have some nice warm raspberry pastry to go with my hot coffee.

Another trip to the doctor with my mom today, then a stop at Home Depot and a few other places that I am sure I'll find out about on the road. :)

Otherwise, no plans as it seems lately none of them work for me. Therefore, for the rest of the month I will go with the flow, just like most of the last week.

Any gallery page regardless of whether it is sponsor made or home made, can only have a maximum of 4 outbound links.

Good morning everyone. My rasberry from the softball game is a little more then a rasbery. It's a friggin gash that takes up my right side. I thought it would go away in a day or so. Looks like it's going to be a bit more then that.

I have some errands to do and I'll be back to weigh in.

Not much planned today. Grocery, PO and I have to stop by the Hotel Liquidators store to buy some table covers. I signed up for a street show next weekend downtown.

Hopefully IKE will dissipate before it does too much damage. From the 5 day forecast, my pretty little Jamaica looks "spared"

Still trying to clean up from the Bullshite that flew out of my screen last night while watching the Rep convention.

Knocking out a little work at home then going to go downtown to run around a show for a little while.

Last night watched the first episode of HBO's new series True Blood. I liked it and really wanted to watch another episode. I'm so used to getting DVDs of whole seasons that it's such a tease now when you can only watch one. After that I watched the movie the comebacks. It was so late and it was so horrible I actually kinda just enjoyed it.

Silly weather, hot as hell again, from 15ºC to 35 in one day, hard to breathe or sleep.

Done jack shit today apart from trying to catch up on the sleep i lost having to get up at 7am for my new freezer to be delivered (yes, so i can get more healthy pizz errr i mean food in it *cough*)

Why can't these fuckers deliver at a reasonable time like evening.

It's mid-day for me. But I'm still not awake!
