Happy Third Saturday in September
 

I kept waiting for someone to start the thread. :D I've never started one.

I almost called this happy wish my neighbors dog would stop barking Saturday. |angry| Got woken up at 6:30 am by their dog which they let out in their backyard and spends the entire time barking at their horses. Oh well, I needed to get up early.

I'm really sore this morning. Not only did I do a walk yesterday, but I started to transplant tomatoes to my garden from my greenhouse yesterday. The good news was, we'd had a hard rain and the ground was soft. But since we have clay soil that was soaked with water, every shovel full weighed about 20 lbs. It was a good workout. Got 4 plants transplanted, but that was all I could stand. Have to get walking soon and stretch out.

Going from the greehouse to the garden...in mid September. I thought the growing season was just about over in CO. Don't you get snow next month? LOL

I have a woodpecker on my new pole.

Some great pics of the upcoming Shuttle mission to service the Hubble telescope.

Going by Home Depot in a bit to pickup 10 gallons of roof paint and then painting the flat part of my roof tonight if it isn't looking like rain.

Other then woodpeckers and painting just another fun filled day of marketing the nasties planned for this sunny hot day.

I'm going to a benefit today for the mom of my high school girlfriend. She's got colon cancer :( She was the mom that we all called "mom" and she was probably the coolest parent any of us had.

This also means that I get to see all my old drinking buddies |pokefun||greenguy| Good thing it's a 4-8PM benefit - maybe the daylight will keep them sober & not repeatedly asking me why I no longer drink.

I'm in Nevada, and the tomatoes are fine until frost, which is usually December or January. :D

If I don't get some out of there, they won't be fine in a week because I won't be able to walk down the aisle to water them, lol.

Otherwise it's a beautiful day here in Lost Wages where unemployment is 7.3%, the highest since 1987, visitors are down 13% and even the Rio is offering rooms at 40.00 per night.
