Good morning all!

I'm taking "Bama" and 7 against "Dem Dawgs" should be a good game.

Spent a good part of yesterday digging in the dirt again. Now I've got two almost finished outdoor projects that I planned on finishing today but can't due to it raining today.

Finally watched the Sex and the City movie last night. I want the 145 minutes of my life wasted back.

No real plans for today other then more of the same.

That has to suck, Toby, two weeks without power. Did that once in Key West about 10 years ago after Georges came through. Didn't get much work done that time.

This morning I was making a note on what I wanted to do on some site upgrades. I wanted to add more sidebar content to one blog, but I was distracted by something else as I was writing the note on an index card which now has "need more cowbell" with a line through cowbell and 'sidebar content' following it.

Yesterday was semi-productive and I'm hoping for more production today...or I might just say fuck it and go to the movies. There are several out that I wanted to see. But I'm watching "Young Frankenstein" or is it Frankonsteen, and what could top that in today's movies???

Toby..that is terrible!! Have they given you any idea about when you'll be back up??? I hope it resolves itself soon. Has Barbara Bush come to visit yet???

I'll be off later to put in the football picks.. lets hope for a winner...

After Wilma I had no power for three weeks although I did run my generator 24/7.

My internet was down from last night until just a few minutes ago, that was enough to put me in a foul mood, don't even want to think about what mood I would be in if I went two weeks with no electricity.

Gonna try to recover some lost data. I didn't back up my last 30 "extra" freesites. Including my trusted submitter samples. I've been making special ones for that little by little b4 I turn em in for review. I built them on my laptop which crashed :(

We have a whole bunch more trucks and worker bees in the neighborhood this morning than we've had since Ike hit. Perhaps we'll actually have power back in the next day or two.

We have a generator, so we have lights, refrigeration, Internet, etc. The micro-wave pulls too much power so any cooking has to be done on the gas grill outside. We've mostly been surviving on things that you can eat cold, and dining out.

Fortunately the temps have been much cooler the last 5 or 6 days, so no A/C has been more bearable and I've been able to sleep at night.

As Simon mentioned, my productivity has suffered significantly. Looking forward to getting back to a more normal routine soon, but it will likely be sometime in November before all the debris lining the streets gets removed.

Purdue @ Notre Dame today...

Just sitting here waiting to go to lunch with friends. Otherwise, the day has been decidedly unexciting.

I wish my good friend, Barack Obama, would send me my goddamn lawn sign and bumper stickers. I paid for them 11 days ago and they still haven't shipped them. I have redneck neighbors to annoy!

Spent the morning with my Daughter. Just starting a little work.

And i am so fucking tired, last days it was only redecorating...painting, sanding, wallpaper, seeling shit, we are behind on our schedule due some HUGE FUCKING clusterfucks, it was ment to be we (well hubby) should make the new floor today, but that one will happen next weekend (stu<---- cursing like crazy|angry|). my arms and legs are hurting, the last days i am in my bed at 10 eve or so...i need sleep alot.....and i need a very very unhealty fat meal, oh and maybe a can of ben and jerry's for dessert:D
