How many recips on free site do you usually use now?

I use 16

I use 9-12 because I use image recips and the given tables by LL's. Also I'll mirror some of those warning pages here and there ;)

Although one time I put 20 recips on one freesite using images and the given tables. Got a rejection for doing that from one or 2 LL's.

I stick to the middle ground of 16 per free site. Ive seen as little as 9 and as many as 24

Seems like reason enough to try it again. |thumb

I used 20 custom recips. just make sure the text are visible to a human eyes

I've seen a site that had 4 recips that looked HORRENDOUS and I've seen a site that had 30+ that looked FANTASTIC.

It's all in how you lay them out.

You are right Greenie. The lay out is very importent but LL's woner have your different rules too. I havent submitted free sites since last year so it's good to know what is mostly use.

Do you guys use linkexchanges/recip mainly for traffic or SE Seo? I thought setting up linkexchanges were kind a declared death by mr Google a while ago. And that they hurt a site more then they help in rankings. Any insights?

I use 9-12 I think over 20 recips per FS is banner farm :)

I stick to anywhere from 8 to 10 per freesite, which gets mirrored a couple of times with different recips; at the very least I can satisfy the "must be with some 'big guys' in the recip table" rule for a lot of LL's, and I can sort-of group recips together that I think will work well.
