Need some input on blogging and bloghosts
 

Hi folks,

This is sort of a pre-announcement, over the past few weeks I've been working on putting together a free bloghost, basically because the features I've seen with the other free bloghosts didn't really fit my needs, so I figured I might as well add some competition to the market, as it were.

I could really use some input on what people would expect from a free bloghost in the way of features, things that you would consider to be immense timesavers (or lifesavers), and things that you really do not want to see.

The bloghost uses a custom-built system, of which one of the more interesting features is that it actually understands Blogger templates; to the extent that I can convert them to what my own system uses for templates. It also has the fancy blogger 'edit your layout' thing where you can drag and drop widgets around. Not all widgets you see on Blogger will be supported, and some of the widgets you see on Blogger have gotten a different kind of use -- but I figured this would appeal much to people that want their blogging simple ;)

As mentioned, I want to hear from people what they need, want, would like to have, really like or really hate.

It's not quite ready yet to be beta tested, but I'm more than willing to put up some screenshots -- beta testing should start next week (depends a bit on my *gack* 9-5 job), so anyone interested in that, drop me a PM with any questions or just express your interest and I'll notify you when you can go sign up :)
