Where is the traffic from my Free Sites??
 

Hi,

We looked at what the senior webmasters say, and have donme a few free sites, but the click throughs are very low - and so are the signups!

Please have a look and give some advise (highly appreciated). We have some stunning web sites with original content, but need to get it noticed.

how are you promoting your site?

I only made it as far as your warning pages.

I would suspect your not getting accepted at too many sites.

1 No site name on the warning page.

2 On the first 3 warning pages your header graphic is way too large. Many reviewers will see that as a FPA, also it makes the page very slow to load. The last warning page looks like you never finished it.

3 I'm not sure about this but I believe many LL owners are reluctant to accept non .com domains.

What kind of traffic and CTR are getting?

Many beginners over estimate the CTR they expect to get.

1 - that log up top is WAY too big - plus you have it left aligned & the rest of the page is centered

2 - going 5 wide with recips that are, for the most part, 120 wide, probably squishes the shit out of them at 800x600

3 - you seem to be using the surfers default settings for font & color

4 - your thumbs are way too small - aim for at least 100 on one side

5 - I'm not even sure what the theme of this site is - gallery 1 looks like it a "uniform" niche, gallery 2 looks like it's a "teen" niche - and the 1st page says "pornstars"

6 - you're sending them righ to the join page, which is not the same color scheme & has no sales pitch on it at all - send them to the tour or market the site a little more on the ads on the free site.

Thanks guys (all of you) for taking the time to look and give feedback.

It is now late night (early morning) in South Africa and we will make a concerted effort to make some changes to the next few we do in the morning.

We get around 300 hits a day/site for the first week, and then it drops of. Signup ratios on the main sites like www.porn.co.za and www.amateurssa.co.za is around the 250:1 on all traffic.

Will be coming back soon!

The long & short of it is that if you are converting 1:250 on your own paysite, then just work on getting more traffic over to it.
