yeah - i've found GFY is only good if you like getting you post blasted by a bunch of wankers and newbies

it seems to be all about the flames. i can't figure out why people like it so much

Gfy takes a little 'work' but if you ever want to find out the dirt on a program or a person, post an info request up and I'm sure that 10 mins later you will know the life story.

LB - yeah the only thing with that is there is a glut of bad / erronious / exagerated information floating around GFY, plus you add to that a pension for shittalking - then you should take almost everything you read there with a grain of salt.

I've thought about registering there under a flase use name and putting something up like: "John Ashcroft Enforces 5000$ Tax On All TGP Owners" and watch those idiots run with it.

I, personally really glad GG and Jim opened this board - I think it will be a good thing. The Netsuprise board is cool too, there's just a lot of politics that go on over there. Trust me I know.

I agree with ya, sometimes hard to find the good amongst the bad. Still got it's uses though.

I don't think I've ever been to GFY. Must really be something going on over there though from how much everyone talks about it.

Yeah - its also the only place I've seen where someone asks for some basic Google info so you point him in the right direction only to find he comes back and abuses you for giving him info that is too basic.
