They really are pushing that, but they neglect to mention that there are very few new movies in there worth watching. I do have 15 or so movies in my Instant Queue - and some I have to watch by Jan 1st because I assume they're loosing the rights to have them available for instant viewing.

It's worth the money to hook up your PC or Laptop to the TV, but I'm not going to buy one of their viewing units or a HD TiVo or XBox just because of them.

Us too and some older movies that normally I wouldn't watch but since they are play it now, I am.

I'm afraid to even start using it. The last thing that I need is TV Shows on my computer. As if I don't spend enough time sitting here.

Dual screens, background noise while I'm working. |thumb

I'll have to take a better look at the TV shows - I know I glanced at them when I found the Instant Queue, but I had it in my head that Netflix was Movies & not TV :D

Also - just a reminder - send a movie back today so that you get The Dark Night on Tuesday |greenbat

That hasn't been working for me lately. No matter what, everything goes straight to "very long wait" for me.

My persecution complex and I had a chat and decided that they're fucking with us (or just aren't ordering enough new movies for our area) but either way... it's starting to piss me off.

I heard they are re-releasing it in the theaters. I guess since they pushed back Angels & Demons to May, there are slim pickings over the holidays. I know we're going to see The Spirit on XXXmas.

I'll be watching The Spirit too either xmas day or the day after. |thumb|thumb

Just actually started reading the watchmen now. How I hadn't gotten to it before now I don't know. So I'll be all ready to for that once it finally comes out.

Prepare to be disappointed with the movie.

It's not the kind of storyline that translates to the mainstream, it's about challenging the super hero concept.

You know how else I know it's going to blow having read very little about the movie...because they are making a video game of it!?!?!?!

Read this article if you don't understand why that flies in the face of exactly what the Watchmen were about. Alan Moore's Worst Nightmare |angry|

It's like making a video game out of Moby Dick.
(and yes, of course I'm going to see the movie just so I can complain about it)

Yeah Allen Moore is kind of wordy but I was hooked after V for Vendetta so I read them all.
