Operating in the state of georgia

I've just moved here from California to sandy springs. I was interested in shooting content and operating a site in this state. Where would I find more info about operating in georgia? is that even legal here? What legal issues would i run into.

Not sure...

That's a good question. You should contact an attorney. I don't
know of any porn company located in GA. Most are in Florida, NC,
New York...
If GA is anything like Alabama, you may as well forget it!
One cannot buy nor sell sex toys or porn videos in this state!

Cucumber porn forever!

I know of a number of independent amateur sites that are located in the Atlanta area. Whether or not it's legal is an entirely different matter.

As far as I know southern California and New Hampshire are the only places where the issue has been ruled on by the courts.

Ive been doing adult business online since the 80s in a suburb outside of Atlanta. Ive been on local TV, in local news papers as well as in Wired and several of our trade magazines over the years.

Oprano is headquartered in Atlanta. Several programs and website owners also reside here.

Bottom line is as long as you dont bring any major attention to yourself in the form of scandoulous shoots or public events [like the swingers site that threw a party to the public and was serving booze without a license and had a minor up on stage on video in a sex act] then you should be fine.

Theres no need to check with a local lawyer just for peace of mind in continuing your business. However you might want to have access to one should the need arise.

I can recommend one should the need arise.
Im currently back and forth between Charlotte and Atlanta. Welcome to Georgia.
