Cross Sales Cost My Sponsor Sales
I made 6 sales with a cum swallowing site last month which is a fairly high total for me to a single site. So I went through my affiliate links to see what they were doing right.
When I got to their join page I saw that they have two really small cross sale check boxes for a buck a piece. However in their terms which are below the join button I saw this, about the same size too. * If not canceled within the 2 day $1 trial period, your account will automatically renew at $39.97 per month. ** If not canceled within the 1 day $1 trial period, your subscription will automatically renew at $39.97 per month. So a surfer thinking he'd join for $30 will most likely get stuck for $110 and all the while I see $15 of it. Yes, these are revshare links only! |angry| This is good traffic to me, and I just can't justify screwing over any of my surfers let alone highly targetted ones. So I pulled all of the my links to their entire program and now I'm hoping those 6 sales I got last month will trickle down through my other listed cum sites but it upsets me to no end that I had to pull a site that my surfers obviously find attractive. |banghead| There's no real question here or anything, I just needed to bitch. |thumb |

rev share with x sales on it is such a joke. hopefully you are getting like 70% + or more on it.
I've already ranted on this earlier. It sucks. |
Cross SELLS! SELLS!
BTW - this thread is useless without a program name |couch
This is a newb question but if a victim of a cross sale complained to their CC company (specifically about the cross sale and not some other reason), could they get a charge back?
|
I think a CC company would accept a charge back phone call no matter where it came from.. because I *think* they make more money on the CB penalty they charge the merchant!
Also I think you'll see more cross sells die off because of some new rules. You'll see them, but they'll be all "in house", which would put an end to the companies that only really exist(ed) to buy cross sell boxes from other people. But dont quote me on that, it's just heresay. |

Sell is a verb. Sale is a noun. You can cross sell an item, but it would create a sale, not a sell. She sells cars. She's good at making sales. That store sells things really cheap. Yes, they run a lot of good sales. John sells crack. Yes, John is a loser, but his drug sales keep him off unemployment. |

Sponsor X cross sells cross sales. |nahnah

I agree - this thread is useless with sponsor names. (how often do you get to use the word 'chortling'?) |
Mr Useless Warrior - you sound like my missus, and she's an english teacher.
Were you an english teacher in a former life? Quote:

OT, that sucks on a revshare link, for sure, and I think you're pretty much justified in naming the sponsor to warn others who may not have checked the join page. |
