Which LLs rank freesite listings based on quality?
 

I know Penisbot and Wetplace assign a quality rank between 1 and 10 for each freesite and it affects its listings. Does anyone else do this? I'm curious because I usually get a rank of 6 but today got an unprecedented rank of 4, so maybe I did something right there. Then I'm wondering if I put a lot of thought into a layout, would it be possible for some 2-min auto-generated freesite to be listed above me on some LLs because they're listed alphabetically or chronologically?

I'm always getting 6 and 5 from penisbot and wetplace...I've also gotten a few 4s...I think it depends on the reviewer.

My script does not allow quality rankings unfortunately but any submitted links do rotate alphabetically.
It's been a while since I built and submitted but I did used to get some 4's from them and I know they used to have a page regarding quality and how to rank better. Maybe a little digging on their site could give you the answer you want if that page is still available.
I have seen some of you're sites and always thought they were well designed so I don't know how you can improve on them but that's just my opinion.

I use a semi-random system based mostly on astrology, but I list the good stuff first, while being good to those who are good to me, and mixing it up a bit every now and then.
You have good stuff, you're good to me, and you sub regularly so your sites usually randomly get good spots |thumb

I did have a joke about how I've seen your work & a 4 was being generous, but then it dawned on my that this DUMMIE is ranking sites on a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the worst & 1 is the best.

HowlingWulf - I actually love your sites & have no problem with them - and you're not the dummie, although some other dummies might read it as such.....dumb dummies

I have a simple but effective system: the sites I like the best and some that come from trusted webmasters get listed at the top of the page and naturally get more traffic. So it works for the webmasters and for the surfers too.

In the past I used to add a "Hot" gif next to the ones I concidered the best sites but I don't use it anymore.

I guess the only way to get a "1" at PB is to be a commie, I never get above a 5

I used to get 2 and 3 all the time, then went to 4, 5 and 6... and today, I got a rejection! |jester|

I list those I consider decent - reject everything else.

Since I am starting to get a larger amount of submissions, I can choose to be pickier - so only the better sites are getting listed.

Still don't have the submission volume to be all that picky though.

I've had a few #1's. Never got a sale from em either. I'll take the 5's all day long. :)

Can someone that is not affraid of the CCCP please either confirm or shoot down my question?

I'd hate for to say "Thanks!" after he called my site the best 10 he's ever seen.

I only ever get a 5 or 6 - I always though 10 was for sites that suck , maybe I have the ass end of the story and 10 is great and 1 sucks -either way my sites are mediocre |cry|

As long as he lists them I don't care what he rates my sites...

Is it just me, or is it stupid to rank the quality of anything on a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is good and 10 is bad?

(I also thought that a higher number was good and was getting annoyed at often getting a 4)

Maybe Russians read from right to left, maybe when a Soyuz takes off they have a count-up, instead of a count-down |huh

I get mostly 5's and 6's with a few 4"s
Always felt the 4's were as much due to cat submitted to as anything else.

And on my LL, if I like your site, it gets listed in more cats where possible.
