Curious - someone is trying a brute force hack of my old AdultNetsurprise account
 

Just got this email ... It sure wasn't me trying to login.

Seems like an odd thing to do - maybe somebody testing a cracker tool?

I haven't been to ANS for a while.

Anybody else getting this kind of thing?

Got a second lockout notice, so they are still trying.

212.95.54.179 looks to be a lovely place.

its possible that it is just an automated dictionary attack if you used the name 'bill' there as well.

At least it is nice that such attempts are captured and the account locks. I wonder how many affiliate systems lock out after x bad attempts?

Well if it wasn't for the ip, I would have asked if you might have made the same mistake I did with Niftystats.
I stupidly entered a wrong password for one sponsor, and after 5 attempts to log in and download stats, I got locked out from that sponsor... No big deal, it opened automaticly after 24 hours, and I got the password fixed, but still ;)
