Reviving Old Domains

What's the best way to revive old domains that were once listed well in Google but now are not. They didn't disappear because of black hat, spam or linking but they just weren't maintained.

I have some domains and some of them are 6+ years old. Since I would often build and forget these domain sat there year after generate some cash. I'd check them once a year or so.

This year they're not getting any traffic and I want to boost them back up again.

Ideas?

Add a lot more incoming links, optimize content for keywords. That should do it.

Add some pages to the site along with what HowlingWulf said.

Most are old AVS sites so I';ll probably take them from 4 page tours to 20+ page blogs so replacing the index and every page will occur. I might move the tour section to a directory though
