If it hadn't have been for his having left the same exit link to your own domain, I have to admit that I probably would have missed the fact that it was a copy of your original site. As it is, we were lucky and caught someone out making a silly mistake. It's not always straight forward hence my earlier query regarding the site and the link mentioned.

They left some meta-data in the template too, including a reference to the original domain my freesite was published on.

Wow you guys really have too much time on your hands. No wonder freesites don't get any traffic from your sites, you waste all your time trying to catch "cheaters" and people using certain words in their titles/pages that you think you own.

You're right, it was foolish of my friend bluebrit to notice such an obvious oddity and to let me know. And I'm a bigger fool for making the information public to keep my name on the submitter white list and help cut costs in review times for other link list owners.
