A good Saturday to you all!
Good morning!
Damn, I haven't been online for almost 50 hours by now. Too much offline work and new girlfriend stuff going on I guess. I'll be heading over to Stu's part of Europe in half an hour to spend the night at Party Hotel 't Haasje. We're going with 7 guys so I suppose alcohol consumption will be our main occupation. Cya tomorrow I hope :) |
Good Morning All :)

Mornin' y'all,

Good Saturday Peoples |waves|
The Bitch & I got caught up on our TV watching yesterday. I'm down to 2 non-reality network shows: ER & My Name Is Earl. Next year it will only be one & other than Survivor, Big Brother & The Amazing Race, it's nothing but pay cable programs for me! Tonight we're taking my Dad & step-mom to dinner at a fancy restaurant (well, as fancy as one can find in Buffalo) Quote:

|cheers||blowjob||cheers| Yesterday, I went to the local college during my pursuit for direction. One of the few career fields I'm considering is secondary education, but the university that offers extension courses through our local college is offering their childhood education program here. Can you envision me teaching grades 1-6? Me either. On their campus (two hours away) they have an excellent combined B.A./M.S.T. adolescence education program, so I may have to inquire how many courses I could take here and how many I'd have to haul my ass north for. My sister-in-law is a special ed. teacher and she was having a few colleagues over last night for the mass consumption of wine, so I lucked in to going there and asking questions. While my sister-in-law was of little use, her girlfriend is a PhD and works some sort of administration job with a large school system. She was really helpful and had a lot suggestions as to what type of students someone with my personality could relate too. (Apparently there's a calling for teachers who can deal with pregnant drug dealing meth-addicted teens. Who knew?) So, my exploration continues. |
Good Morning.
Finally got around to start watching Californication, season 1. Watched 4-5 episodes last night, great show! Should finish season 1 sometime this weekend since there is no real hockey or football on. |

UW, takes a man of strong will to make a course change in life like that.
More coding on tap today along with OTB (hopefully) after brunch with my mother. Have a great Saturday. |

Another fucking boring day of stuck home with tubes in me. I can't wait for Tuesday's de-tubing and being able to freely leave the house without tubes connected to a bag. 25 years ago today. Is it Tuesday yet... |
Good Morning
Nothing much going on today. Probably a little tv catch up like Greenie. Went and saw Frost/Nixon last night. Good movie but I fell asleep about 10 mins into it for about 20 mins. :) That seems to happen a lot lately. |

Good morning everyone. Except for driving my kids around today, I am free to work on my porn stuff. Have a great day!

Good morning everyone. Today is supposed to be "Snow Day" . The city trucks it in from the mountains. They charge everyone a few dollars to play in it.
Funny while most of you guys are shoveling it out of your way. We need it brought to us for some fun. But it's raining here so they canceled snow day :( So it's building time :) Have a good day everyone. |
|yawn| Morning..
it's my bi-weekly wait for Fedex to be delivered. and having issues with my last hire/next fire. that's what I get for trying to help the unhelpable..which i never believed until I met her.. so it's back to the drawing board. UW: As a continuous student with more letters after my name than I care to mention..I can so relate to the teaching aspect. But there are more options for teaching than just education. There is a whole industrial element that comes into play if you discover what it is you really want. I thought I'd be safe teaching on the graduate level, only to encounter snot nosed 22 yr olds who thought they'd invented MBAs and had no clue to what business ethics actually meant. Back to watching out the window.. have a good one!! |thumb |
Just work on tap this morning, the wife gets home around lunch time so I'll figure out the rest of my days schedule then. Have a good Saturday all |waves|

Good Morning :)
Still fell like crap. OTB, work and naps on agenda today |
Morning!
Well now I have something new added to my already busy schedule. My sister-in-law has been put in a nursing home due to the fact she has lost all her toes and soon feet to ignoring that she is diabetic. She is only 61 so really young to be in a nursing home, so a daily visit to check on her is now added |crazy| I love these cool/cold nights we have been having. We have been building fires in the fire pit out back every night. Last night we made a ton of smores and went to neighbors and surprised them with them. They loved them! Have a nice Saturday all hope to make it OTB |thumb If your diabetic please take good care of yourself! |
I'm up. I need to make some coffee. Looking to clean up my office again. I still have a half filled suitcase on the ground in here from vegas too. Laundry etc. All the fun stuff in life really I'll be doing today. However, going to catch up on top chef while drinking some coffee and reading the paper.
A little later maybe around OTB time I'll begin doing some work as I need to write a couple more routines and then I can begin on the data entry portion of this project. Have a good one people. |coffee| |
Migraine day 3....
Fun.... |
Hello all. Nothing much planned today beyond OTB and I guess work before and after that.
UW, If you get a degree you could always try working at the university you gained it at. I know a few of the people from my university class went on to work in the labs etc in a teaching capacity, so you can enjoy the job without the snot nosed kids driving you slowly insane. Torn, 3 day migraine's suck! I know because I have had them. Maybe you should get an eye test. I did that and found that my migraines were caused by my, straining my eyes to see the lecture boards during my degree years at uni. I'm now considering the prospect of laser treatment so I can do without glasses altogether again because I am sick of wearing them. |
Yeah I got my eyes tested a few years ago thinking that was the root cause and it's not. It’s actually a combination of eyes, sitting at the desk too long, my jaw and stress.
I try and pay attention to it more so when I start feeling the start of one I am usually chugging down pain meds and getting out of the office, but this time I waited too long and my usual tricks of taking care of it aren’t as effective as normal, so right now there is really nothing but time that will deal with it right now. It hurts now, but not as bad as it could be hurting so I am able to function somewhat, but 2-3 times a year I will get one that will make me vomit and wish I was dead which is just the worse feeling to have. The pain meds, weed and booze are completely worthless at that point and they will just make it worse, so the only thing I’ve found that works at that point involves lying on the floor either in the fetal position or on my back in a coffin position. Not embarrassing at all. |
Have a nice Saturday everyone |waves|

My doctor prescribed me Imitrex for my migraines which seems to help me a lot.
