I caved in & spent money that I don't have on a Edgerrin James jersey yesterday. It was on sale for $59.99 (25% off) so I don't feel that bad about it. The Bitch has a Hines Ward jersey from when they beat Seattle, so we'll be at odds today |catfight|

Wow, had no idea what time it was until I looked at this thread.

Had plans yesterday to get caught up in work and to study Spanish but then Christy got the day off so we went up to her parents for her father's 80th birthday |cakeand and didn't get home until late so didn't get a fucking thing done. Had a very nice time and finally got to meet her brother who just got out of government sponsored multi year three hots and a cot for selling plant products.

No big deal that I didn't get any work done yesterday since money and sales are just fucking great. |banghead|

Today's plans is to do all the stuff that I had planned on doing yesterday.

I worked straight though yesterday from 5am until 3pm.. when i was down to just 1 eye. My new "old" BF has arrived from Phoenix (he's a die hard NYer but will root for the Cards) who I convinced to stay at Palms Place after seeing Ramster's suite. Went to the Dawg's new favorite spot for dinner/drinks. As we were leaving.. there was a huge fight in the parking lot.. shots where fired.. |couch| so we were trapped and forced to drink MORE Sangria while waiting for the police. I so wanted to snap pictures but Allan wouldn't let me..said we'd be shot at. |angry|

Anyway..i'm off to get 'snacky" food so we don't have to wait 3 hours for room service like we did Friday night. Then I'm going to work while they watch the game. I heard Coke is finally retiring the Mean Joe Greene commercial today.. so I look forward to seeing the new one.

Our Canuck friends couldn’t come down this year due to family crap so we are just going to watch it on our own. I think I am 51%-49% for the Cards due to Chike Okeafor being from my hometown and Purdue, but not really caring who wins at the moment which was the same feeling I had last year, I didn’t care who won until that 4th down play from the NYG so I will just watch the game and see what happens. 4 weeks ago the Cards had zero chance of winning a playoff game, now they are legit contenders.... Crazy game.

It's a rather dull day here. At least my ass isn't falling out, which is what I expected after having a disgusting little family dinner at that damned Golden Corral last night. We waited forever to get in, forever to be seated, and that was so we could elbow our way through all the food-greedy fucks who were rushing the buffet bars. The food tasted liked it looked: shitty. Apparently I wasn't doing a very good job of masking my discontent since my wife suggested that I leave. But I stayed and sat there staring at my son and wife while the hordes of unwashed locals continually stampeded by for thirds and fourths. Don't get me wrong -- I have far from a sensitive a palette and I can eat my share when the food is good. But the food was as disgusting as the clientele who we were corralled with. And it's not as if we were all seated together. Instead, we were sitting at three separate tables, and I was stuck at the table with my wife's crazy fucking aunt.

On the education front, I received a very promising reply to the email I sent to the coordinator for the B.A. program I applied to and she'd like to meet me. Gotta keep the wheels rolling.

Morning... Was up earlier and watched a cool program on History about gambling then I feel back asleep.

Last night after getting back from my grandma's 95th birthday party I met up with my lady and a bunch of her girl friends at a small club a couple blocks from my house. It was the 4th place they had already gone to that night. I had a lot of catching up to do. The jack n cokes went down so smooth though as for no reason earlier in the day I just had horrible road rage. Not really the speeding kind. More the kind of yelling at the car for the driver ahead to press the accelerator.

So from 10 to 1 I just had at it. Plus it helps to be the only guy in a group of really drunk hot looking girls. :)

About to go to the farmers market now to get some items for a super bowl party.

I'm so sad another football season is coming to an end. This next week I'll be purchasing spring training baseball tickets and going to a lakers game. Then in a couple weeks I'm off to a nascar race in vegas. All this won't make up for football. ;)
